Great review, that I wanna add a few details to after trying them both on. Firstly, walking comfort differs quite a bit for me. The SMX-6 V2 are way more flexible and offer more sole on the heel for walking, while the Plus V2 have very little sole and if you take a big step you might end up on the slider and slip. The flexibility differs quite a lot, with the Plus V2 being expectedly stiffer and restrictive. Still walkable, but not quite as suitable for keeping them on off the bike as the SMX-6 V2. Secondly on the regular version the Plus V2 (non-vented) felt warmer to me than the SMX-6 V2 (non-vented). Haven't taken a ride, so I can't comment on how they respond to airflow.
I have a pair of SMX-6 V2 vented boots on order. Looking forward to wearing them. I compaired in the store to the SMX-S boot, that's a closer comparison than the other ones here. I think they are all well built. Time will tell how long they will last. I had a pair of Built brand summer boots that's literally fell apart after a few years of very mild use. My winter boots are twice as old (over 6 years) and the uppers are now starting to fall apart. They are waterproof winter boots so I can't wait till my SMX-6 V2 Vented boots arrive. They've been on back order since April. Eta is February 2023... smh... Cool little comparison.

The v2 just looks better than the plus. I haven't tried either on yet but I saw someone yesterday riding with the V2 and they looked wicked

Supertech r
Supertech r vented
Supertech r v2
Do they both fit the same in the toe box? Is one a bit wider then the other?
how high is this smx6 v2 plus?
Crazy how alpine doesn’t a compare chart or something on their website you’re just on there guessing smh

Both of these lack the feel of the shifter peg...
That’s to be expected with a race boot.
