Nice work Phil! One thing you could do on the entrance area is add floor drains with bilge hose directing the water underneath the subfloor. This could help keep the water out of the blind area entirely.
@@crexhuntclub I thought about that but that would be a huge undertaking I’m afraid and I’d also be nervous they would get caught up with too much sand. I’m going to keep it so that the water stays down the middle so it’s basically just what’re our boots would be anyways, away from where I would store gear or equipment
@@PhilKahnkeWaterfowl Good point. Another way you could do it is have the drain come to bilge hose at a right angle under the steering area and then have the bilge hose run along the floor on the starboard side securing it with pipe strap clamps and having the hose end up in the bilge area. You could then run water through it once a season or offseason to clean it out and wouldn't have to worry about sand build up underneath the floor. You might be right though. The juice might not be worth the squeeze. Looking forward to the rest of the build!
