It will forever be so utterly insane to me how Better Call Saul turned two names from one throwaway line from one of the most forgettable scenes of Breaking Bad, into the two most complex, captivating and masterfully written characters of the entire Breaking Bad FRANCHISE.
He makes my skin crawl with the overfriendliness and apparent charm, contrasted with his plotting and shear brutality which seems not to phase him, in fact he maybe even seems to find it enjoyable. Huge credit to casting, writing and Dalton himself for the character they created. Hector and Tuco switch almost instantly so at least can't keep up a facade of niceness, but I genuinely fear the likes of Dahmer seeming so charming
Tony Dalton is a really good actor, he should try to get into Hollywood, idk like probably Marvel suits him. And even more, I feel like he'll work amazing in a marvel series where superheroes are extinct, that is IF marvel creates a web series like that.
Man, if Lalo was in Breaking Bad, Walter would've had no shot after Tuco died. This man was a whole other kind of beast in comparison. He wasn't a drug junkie, he was smart, determined, very physically capable, tactical, no remorse, and all hidden behind a grin that kept you guessing how much he actually knows. It says something when Gus of all people had his entire team searching day and night and going to such lengths to try to prevent Gus from being killed, and Lalo STILL got the jump on him. He may have died, but he made one hell of an impression. Walt may have been top dog in his time, but it says something that Saul was relieved, despite kneeling in front of an open grave with guns pointed at his head.
I personally think lalo wouldn't directly go against walter it would be like a race against Gus on who first acquires the Heisenberg asset. And if fring got walt, lalo would ultimately try to eliminate him
Lalo is the white collar professional in Drug Dealing. When you think of drug dealers; you think of bums that are always on a high and recklessly spending. Lalo is a one-man team

@billyrj973 I that's how it would've played out. Walt and jesse would have met Lalo in the episode "Grilled." Tuco would do his lie detector on them like he does in the original Walt and jesse would be a little taken a back by how different Lalo and Tuco are despite being related
It explains Gus’ attitude in breaking bad. No longer was he worried (on a single man) about losing his life. Lalo was a monster in himself.
