Thank you Roy for doing this scene because I felt the same way when Trevor announce he was leaving the show, no one had any idea Trevor was even thinking about leaving. So this skit help ease the pain of Trevor leaving. This was also so very funny.
Thought the same thing. Even thought "oh trevor, now it sounds like Roy somehow got you to quit"
I really think it has to do with ratings and Paramount. I think him being able to travel again and go back to his roots, was just validation it was time to move on. One door closes and two open.

Thank you Roy for giving us this skit. It really conveyed the disappointment, hurt, Love, and appreciate that is felt all at once. Just like a child graduating and leaving the home, it's difficult to put a finger on exactly which emotion to deal with first. It's like you went through all if the stages of grief in 3 min. And with your acceptance, came healing. We will all miss Trevor.💙

These were my actual feelings when i watched Trevor tell his departure. I was cryng too, how Trevor just shook up everyone's life and flow. I get it Roy.
This act is priceless... This is basically how we're all feeling about Trevor Noah's departure. But, This is nothing new... We just need to be thankful that we have so much talent out there, ready to keep us sane during such uncertain times... Thank you Trevor.
"Man, do your own traffic." Ha, definitely makes it easier for all of us diehards to prepare for his exit. I mean, well at least he didn't just leave...he's giving everyone time to adjust to his absence. As a fan, we'll have to adjust. This piece was definitely funny and necessary. That's comedic genius right there!

Love Trevor and Roy...The comedic timing of Roy is awesome... I personally want Roy to have a bigger platform to showcase his comedy... Being a host doesn't fully allow you to go all in, prolly what Trevor misses about standup...
He is amazingly funny, but he is also an excellent, thoughtful host on Beyond the Scenes.
