also helps a lot to have the right kind of paper, otherwise going over the same spot multiple times trying to blend will make the color bleed outside your lines. like. a Lot.
I love this and would love to hear more about it. Would you also be open to making a video on how you do skin tones? I am trying to do skin tones with alcohol markers and I don't feel like I am getting it right. Even just tips in the comments would be welcome.

WHAT! this looks amazing! Ive had a few sets of Tombow markers sitting on my desk unused for a while, and this should def help me out here 😅
Are the tombow markers alcohol based? If so this tutorial should work just fine. If they're water based you might not get the same results since waterbased are different and i believe harder in general to blend colors.

Small question, With the chisel nib, is there a way to prevent the lighter marker from picking up the darker ink from the paper? I’d hate to ruin my markers by doing something wrong

Is it harder to do with cheaper alcohol markers or am I just doing it wrong. I’m a self taught artist but I’ve never used alcohol markers so I’m not 100% sure if it’s harder for me because the ones I got are on the cheaper side, or because I’m not quite doing it right. I thought I was doing what you showed here though… could it be my paper?
I don’t have the brush tip but wish I did. Just chisel and bullet.
