    One would have fun at the crusher facility crushing all that rock or stone and picking it up with the wheel loader after it was turned into gravel or road base material!!

    • @norwegianearthmovers
      @norwegianearthmovers  3 роки тому +2

      Hehe, one would at least have enough to do, if all this rock went to a crusher!!😅👍
      I did a job in a quarry last summer, where they had a large stationary cone crusher! They loaded Euclid R130’s with a Komatsu 1250 there, hauling about 10 000 tons a day to the crusher!😋 I load between 10 000 and 15 000 tons a day, I imagine the lineup at the truck pit and a lot of idle time for me..🤪😅
      The mobile crusher we have on site now, has even lower capacity. I don’t know exactly how much they crush each day, but from experience, I know similar crushers can process up to 4000 tons in a 12 hr shift!🙂

      Hi bud!🙋‍♂️ Thank you for enjoying the start of it then!🙏
      Hehe, I am aware of the fact that several - including myself - prefer to see videos with pure sound!😉
      I do however have so many videos of me loading in a small time window.
      Have had several questions and request, regarding what techniques and plans I perceive to keep my production smooth and high.🤭😅
      These two last videos are an attempt to show more of my operation, from before I build the bench, through how I advance into the pile and how I try to get my bucket full - every time!😋
      A little hard to do that without engaging time lapse with the camera, as I here in two short videos captured about 5 hours of work!
      If you want sound, you should click on my channel 👉 videos 👇 then scroll 15 videos back in time 👉 to a video I called Headphones on!😉 That one has awesome sound of both engine and steel up against hard rock!!😋
      Unless you already have seen it though..🤭😄
      Thanks for watching and for taking your time to share your thoughts!🙏🤗
      All the best back to you from Norway!🙂

      Well, Black Sabbath is to me Hard rock!🤩
      Most of the iconic bands of old feels like hard rock, but their impact and passion will never diminish to me!🙃
      In this video, I felt like Five Finger Deathpunch on fire, in a never ending standoff against Judas Priest who would never yield!😅 New icons vs magnificent classics, in my mind..😄
      I am actually a fan of Black Metal also, but this pile wasn’t so hard, so I didn’t need to bring up those forces to succeed..😅

      Hi!🙋‍♂️ Well, I think that the buzzer has replaced those old alarms to lower the noise level on the sites.😅 I think it’s nice, the trucks are heard clearly when they are backing up, even without hurting our ears! And, it is a completely different sound than the blast alarm with this sound compared to the old horns that practically could be mixed with warning sounds before a blast!😋

    • @norwegianearthmovers
      @norwegianearthmovers  3 роки тому +1

      Thank you so much!🙏😊 This is still blasted granite on the same site, but this one had different colors in the rock than the other hills we have leveled!😄
      Not too far from this site, lies a block quarry, extracting “Larvikitt”! This is a hard material great for making refined rock elements out of. However, that is not so nice to blast, and it seems like we found something like that in this blast..🤪😅 Higher density in the rock, makes it harder to blast.
      Thanks for watching this one as well!🙏😁

    Now that's a huge excavator but sitting in say a 200 ish size and trying to get one big stone (skut in Swedish) into the bucket and it just slips out every time.. Man that's annoying 😂 Usually when you can't dig any lower than what the rock is at. Just something I thought of watching this. Nice video 👍🏻

    • @norwegianearthmovers
      @norwegianearthmovers  3 роки тому

      Hi!🙋‍♂️🙂 Hehe, I know the feeling you describe, have been there and done that.. A lot..🤪😂
      I believe you meant 200, as in 20 ton size?🤭😄
      I can assure you, that it’s even more annoying to try to get a hold of large rocks when standing on ground with this one..😝😅 Smaller machines has more speed to juggle the rocks into the bucket, larger machines are slower, just pushing the rock around..🤪
      I am practically dependent on standing on a bench like this!😅
      Thanks for watching and for sharing your thoughts!🙏🤗

      @norwegianearthmovers  3 роки тому +1

      Thank you so much for your kind feedback!🙏😋
      I see! How do you feel the production goes with those Bell’s?🙂 The Doosan DA 40’s are a bit bigger, but I feel that they’re a bit to narrow when I load them.. Easy to spill materials when loading, especially when loading from the rear end! Turns into kind of precision loading compared to the great match the 772’s has to the 390!😅
      What kind of bucket do you load with? Mine is a Cat Extreme Duty, 6,5 cubic meters rock bucket!🤩
      Jepp, the hammer is working just behind the camera, on another fresh blast pile! It is a Atlas Copco HB 4700 mounted on a Cat 352 Next Gen!🤙 You can see the breaker in action in several of my other videos!😋

    I don't think everyone appreciates how much work it is to pick out rock and load. The only time it is smooth is loamy soil. These rock are quite large but the drillers and blasters have to try to predict the solidity of the rock to use their tools against it. Not always easy.

  • @Ancient_Iron
    @Ancient_Iron 3 роки тому

    Blasting crew have been a bit shy with the explosives... Or the drill rig operator has drilled the site on too big grid...🤔
    Good struggle you have there!😁👍

    • @norwegianearthmovers
      @norwegianearthmovers  3 роки тому +2

      Hehe, there was several reasons that the result became what it was..😝😄
      Entering science, when looking at rock with higher density than regular for this site, higher elevation of the blast, drill pattern and ignition timing for the blast.. 🤪
      This blast was both too small, and at the same time too large! If they would load a smaller piece of the hill, the rock would be better after blasting, but the remaining rock face would probably be broken and hard to take on once more. They decided to load what they had explosives to fill, but it would be the best if the entire hill would have been blasted at once!😄 Their decision left me with this hard pile, and quite the challenge to remove all rock in a safe manner! After a long talk with the blast chief, I really hope that they will bring in one more slurry truck, if they face the same challenges in the future!😅
      I made it in the end though, hard or nice rock, it needs to go either way..😝😂
      Thanks for taking part in my struggle!🙏🤗
