    It's great that you load each truck to its full maximum and not spilling the material over the sides.

    I have always admired your ability to be smooth and extremely productive with the machines you operate.😜👍 This video demonstrates two other aspects of this operation.One thing that is very obvious is the great job Cat did in the design of this machine, it is so well balanced and has a great ass end. There is virtually no rock and roll to the machine considering where you are sitting, the other thing that is obvious is you company has a very experienced blasting crew that works for them. I noticed you only set one big rock aside, do they come out to the site to hammer them or do you load them at some time and they hammer them up near the crusher? Keep up the good work. 😜👍 Bill W

    • @norwegianearthmovers

      Thank you so much, Bill!🙏😋 Your comments always keep me smiling, I really appreciate your feedbacks that tells me that I have shown something professional!🤗
      Jepp, I feel that Cat has done a great job too!!🤩 The machine became even steadier after rebuilding the bucket, my guess is that it got just a bit heavy when fully loaded earlier! My days has been a lot more comfortable now, even with the need for one more cycle to every truck load!😋 I guess every machine has its limits, and when the bucket weighed 8,5 tons originally - and carried 12 - 15 tons of material, that limit was close..🤪 It feels more steady now, with 8 tons of weight - carrying about 10 tons of material!!😊
      Yes, the blasting crew deserves some credit for their job on this site!🙂 Of course, everyone can suffer unfortunate results sometimes, but they do have great experience! Our company started out as a blasting company back in 1974, and our founder was the first in Norway to by a drill rig!!🤩 Before that, every blast was prepared by hand held air hammers all over Norway by the old “rallar” crews..😅 My boss really turned the table in the entire construction business back then, and has really specialized in large production blasts ever since!!
      We are building a industrial site here, and we have some standards to work by!😋 We don’t fill with large rocks, so I have to be aware of what I load the trucks with. I have a simple system to alert the trucks, when I signal them one time - the load is for the D8 on the quality fill, if I signal them twice- the load is of large rocks that are dumped on other locations!🙂 We don’t load too large rocks, they are put to side for breaking.😋 We don’t have a crusher here yet, but we’ll bring one in during the winter, to crush gravel for roads and trenches!
      Thanks for watching and for your comment, once again!🙏😋 They surely means a lot to me!🤗

    Watched the entire 30 min not boring !! The 4 tooth bucket seems to work very well in that type material as opposed to the 5 tooth in the earlier comparison video. I am assuming the loaded material goes to the rock crusher, if so.........what is the finished material used for ? Noticed some light snow meaning temps are below 32 degrees, does Cat have a good cab hear ?? The 390F appears to be well balanced no rocking with loaded bucket during the swing cycle. John Deere here in America says "Nothing like a Deere" one can say around the world there is "NOTHING LIKE CATERPILLAR" Here in America you will first see at work sites Caterpillar followed by either Volvo and or John Deere.

    • @norwegianearthmovers
      @norwegianearthmovers  3 роки тому +2

      Thank you so much!🙏😁 Yes, I think the bucket works well, took some time to get used to it though!😅
      Jepp, winter is upon us, so there is sometimes snow in the air now a days! The cab is really great, the climate system always keeps the cab warm and and the windows clean of dew!😋 It keeps me cool in the summer as well, and with a great seat with both heating and fan powered air cooling - the environment in the cab is great!!😁
      The rock we load and haul, I laid out by a dozer! The project is about building a industrial site, so all of the rock is moved to fill up and even out valleys at the site!😋 There is coming a crusher later on to produce gravel for the finish work, but for now we do the heavy lifting of the materials!
      Yes, the balance of the machine is just great, and got even better with the new design of the bucket - that also saves the weight of it with almost 500 kilos down to 8 tons!😋
      Here in Norway, Cat and Volvo are about sharing the leading role of the brands, followed by Hitachi, Komatsu and Kobelco. We do also have some spread use of Case and Liebherr, but I my opinion - Cat is best!!😊
      Thanks for watching and for your comment!🙏😁

    I don't know how missed this, vid lol. Smooth operation keep it up. How many pounds or tons were loaded and I'm sure this blasted granite was crushed. So this has to be heavier than regular rock stone being blasted granite.

    • @norwegianearthmovers
      @norwegianearthmovers  3 роки тому

      Hehe, this was my first shift on the 390 at this project I have been on since December!😅
      Same blasted granite that you have seen handled the past 6 months, and the same payloads of about 50 tons hauled to the D8T dozer!😋
      I was really exited back then, since I hadn’t operated the 390 since April earlier that year!🤪
      This was the start of the project that we are soon to complete, so all rock was going to embankment works to build this 200 acres industrial site!😊

    • @norwegianearthmovers
      @norwegianearthmovers  3 роки тому

      Hehe, most of us drive without shoes, since we sit in the cab for 4 hours before we go out to brakes og home.😉
      It keeps the environment in the cab so much better, without dust and shit everywhere! We spend more time in our cabs than home, so the idea is to make the cab as comfortable as home!🤪😅
      The last project I was on, was on an island where they deposit hazardous waste. Out there it was prohibited to wear the shoes when in cab, to prevent polluted dust from entering the cab, causing us injuries and so on.. So it is both a healt issue, that makes my day more comfortable and clean!😉

      Hehe, you are allowed to have what ever opinion you want!😉
      Well, I have been long enough in the business to remember the sound of old Cat’s, and I must agree that the sound of the old ones were something special!
      However, with these times insane emission standards, there are only approved new machines with all these extra environmental systems at public contracts..
      The real sound of the machines disappeared with the D series, but was already then faded since the first of the 3 series and the end of the old 2’s.😄 For me, this one sounds way better than any other brand on the market today, so this is only my opinion towards what’s possible to get these days!
      I’ll leave your opinion to yourself, but thanks for watching anyway!🙏
