Besides using anki for learning Japanese. I also use it for important point from a book. But I never sure what format of the card should be. Should it still be active recall? I wish you can show us the format of your cards for book/ audiobook and also for Skillshare knowledge For example if I want to remember this positive quote from Thich nhat hanh Quote: to be beautiful means to be yourself. You don’t need to be accept by others. You need to accept yourself. What format should I make this quote?
I suggest making the card for the main quote that strikes your mind, then include screenshots for the page or contexts where it was. Also, to include the book title and the quoted text's place text.
This is very relevant to me, because I'm a working professional trying to use Anki to get better at my job. What I struggle with is maintaining an Anki practice next to work and not getting discouraged by the volume of new information I'd like to remember. Do you have ideas for how to deal with that?
It depends on the type of work you are doing. If it is something related to learning new software, you can do cards for steps to do different tasks and includes screenshots for different windows in that application. If it is a new process for doing something, then you start by make main processes and then add details for each one and then make cards for each one of them and make categories as decks or how ever you like it. Hope this helps.
Thanks for all your videos. Please, what is the Anki version you are using now? is it still 2.1? In this video, you mentioned that you are using 2.1 ua-cam.com/video/Az9qZCMqNCY/v-deo.html

I have same question too. Trying to find answers on YT and this video is as close as I've gotten. But will try for much more specific approach.
@@Billu437 can you tag me if you find answer for that? Thank you :))
