You’re right, there are so many substances that she doesn’t know about that could kill a plant. Weed killer, bleach, motor oil. Of course the listener would have to find a way to get those substances or make them before they died from withdrawal so... 🤔 that could still be tricky. (Personally if I were in the listener’s position I’d just burn shit down!)

Legit this could have been a Willing listener up until the last couple minutes. Like....the listener becomes Daph's connection to the outside world and helps sets up a town by the tree bringing the world to her, so to speak.

Definitely a bit different from your usual audios but fantastic as always. You did a marvelous job switching between the sweet, empathetic and lonely plant girl and the psychotic, Poison Ivy-wannabe other half after the reveal. And that laugh...gave me chills. xD I think I mentioned before you have a flair for more horror-inspired audios being able to be unsettling in the best way possible. Keep up the good work.
I'm not sure about that, given that her life force is tied to an ancient tree that presumably can never be moved, but I wish it were true. I'm sure she'd be much happier able to explore with a companion rather than having to trap them in the same dull place she's been for thousands of years.

Not much of a threat, all told. Honestly, that'd be my first thought too but...it's a jungle, possibly even a rainforest with a dense canopy. It's even currently raining in the audio. I'm not sure how successful fire would be under those conditions.
