Beautiful Christian hymn written by an Anglican priest in 1847 one month prior to his death. He was a really good man who firmly believed that whatever Christian sect you are in is okay. His wife was a Methodist. He brought her to church on Sunday. From there he went on to his Anglican church to shepherd his flock. On the way back home he picked up his wife to go home. While he was dying of T.B. all of the beautiful words came to him while he was in his garden writing them down. He left a beautiful legacy embraced by all Christians regardless of sect. Is not broad mindedness a good thing? His attitude was as long as you love the man who suffered and died for you, you are on the right path. A very good man who is now in one of the mansions above.

I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for this video. This was my dad’s favorite hymn and I recorded myself singing all the parts for his memorial slide show. It was challenging but you all helped me so much with this video. I sang along with you as I recorded the parts. Thank you for helping me give one last gift to my Daddy ❤ bless y’all.

I worked in the office district for a long while and harmonized with five other missionaries to sing this hymn (in Spanish, "Ven tu, Senor") in parts. To this day, it remains one of my favorite.
