As someone from a family of multigenerational abuse I don’t believe it’s manipulative to tell a family member that their spouse of being abusive anymore. I used to believe that but not anymore. We ignored too many people we suspected were getting abused because “no evidence” and children were involved each time. But we didn’t want to jump to conclusions. It was not until my niece raised the alarm that something was not right. It wasn’t technically child abuse but it was still a disturbing situation and I finally sat my sister down who was pregnant at the time and basically just laid out all the reasons I thought her husband was a piece of 💩 and then she finally admitted that he bashed her skull into the wall while still pregnant and she’s still having headaches because she was scared to report it. That’s all I needed to hear! Even if you aren’t sure just say something! ANYTHING!

George was def trippin throughout the story.. But I think Emily looked at Op as more than a brother.. Because a sister would have noooo issue falling back on a brother during hard times or having him pay her way.. I think Op laid into the sibling thing a lot more than she did....
