I love Samoyeds! When I was growing up, we had a half Samoyed, half Chow dog. Her name was Pepper and she was grey like a chow but looked just like a Samoyed. She was so soft and fluffy! She was also a very loving dog and I miss her! She passed away 15 years ago. As an adult I want another dog like her!

I love sammies!! They're basically fluffy white sunshine and their smiles are infectious. They need a lot of exercise and stimulation because they're working dogs, so they're not ideal for apartment living. I guess that's why you don't really see them in places like Tokyo because a good majority of people live in single-occupant apartments or places that are too small for a large dog like a Samoyed.
Pony-kun the samoyed knew a hesitant first time walker for sure 🤣 Samoyeds are so precious but so energetic and vocal hahah even a shiba inu is a lot for an apartment, and samoyed is absolutely a larger, fluffier version of that hahah
I had Samoyeds in an apartment for their entire lives - they do fine, but they have to be an integral part of your life. If I was out doing something, they were always with me.
Japan is my fav country. I subscribed you like an year ago to keep me updated about japan cuz your videos are way too aesthetic and nice . But the main part is that my favourite dog is also samoyed. Cant believe theres a whole cafe with them
I work in an office where our office dog is a Samoyed! She is either hyper or sleepy, no in between. If you rub her belly she starts barking at you if you stop 😂 She’s also a little naughty and likes to get into trash cans or steal peoples stuff lol But she’s so friendly!

Awwww! I'm SO in love with this breed. I want a Samoyed too! But I couldn't offer them what they need, i.e big house and nice garden to play and walk in, since I'm currently living in a small apartment building with only two floors and I don't have enough space to welcome them properly. But I want to get one so bad! Maybe when I'm old and can't travel/write for hours anymore. I have the money though, which makes the situation quite frustrating 😂but I have so much stuff to take care of, I wouldn't have time, and I really cherish my freedom to go anywhere I want when I want it, without the obligations a dog brings along with their loving presence. I want to travel to Japan one day so I'll definitely check this place if it's still there!
That is a really interesting concept! I've seen cat hotels before, but not dogs. And a particular breed is really rare. I would have had a lot of allergy issues there, but it would have been so worth it to pet all those cute dogs!

Samoyeds look so very cute, but they really are quite big, strong, energetic and very fluffy 🤣 and little bit like shibas, with side of triangle ears cat personality rather than very trainable hahah they are clever doggies with their own minds. The staff member carrying Pony-kun at the end was basically samoyed owner special 🤣 when they are done walking or extra ready to escape, it's easier to just carry all that floof hahahah
sooo cute. such floofiness! truly a cotton candy cloud with legs. ☁hahahaha. just a suggestion though... next time have more give on the leash when walking the dog. it kind of looked like he was being yanked up by his collar the entire walk, which has to hurt his neck. even if you dont want the dog too far away, just keep a shorter distance on the leash, but let the leash still do the corralling. not the leash + you holding it tight the whole time. just want the dog to be walking comfortably, too! 💕
I'm glad i wasn't the only one who noticed that they were holding the lead WAY too high... you could see the back of the collar lifting behind the dog's neck... no wonder it kept walking with its head tilted up. The staff member should've said something.
loved mine. Had her from her dog age - 4 yrs old until she died at 14 yrs old.... she, loved forest trail walks each day and cuddling in your lap as big dog. I usually just cut fur back with scissors once a year before hot summers. Think if used a uv umbrella best for this cold weather dog. She could sleep on snow no problem 🌨❄🌬
We always had Samoyed dogs when I was a kid 🙂 My brother has two now (a male and a female). From my experience, the males are laid-back, while the females are more naughty and energetic. They need a lot of exercise and mental stimulation. They also have a strong prey-drive. Our Samoyed girl (Buffy) killed Eastern Brown Snakes that sometimes came into our backyard (they are the second-most venomous land snake in the world) 😮💨 My brother’s old dog (Bixie) used to escape his yard on a Saturday night, and visit people who were having parties. My brother would get a call a few hours later, asking him to collect his dog 😆 They are such funny dogs, and I miss having them. But we live in an apartment in Sydney. So now we have a Dachshund 🌭
Inportant to remember that these all seem to be puppies, and sammies grow shockingly fast. My samoyed weighed 6kg when I got her at two months old, and now three months later she's 15kg. The females top out at 25kg but the males easily exceed that. Only get one if you're strong enough to handle them launching at things when on walks. While they're friendly, they can be OVERLY friendly and want to run up to and say hi to everyone. Doing that is cute when small, but could intimidate people when they're the size of an adult labrador. They also require daily brushing and grooming every month or so. And the breed comes with pretty severe separation anxiety and if your pup has it they will pee and poo everywhere when stuck on their own, and can even deepen the anxiety into a panic disorder. I love my dog and I can handle her, but she is expensive and time-consuming in a way not many dogs are. I also recommend getting a female, as many of the genetic diseases Samoyeds face impact males not females, such as a kidney issue females are carriers for and males actually suffer, which is fatal for them and only shows up around a year or two into their lives. Do your research, and remember that if you like how they look but will be too big for you, there are many smaller spitz breeds you could have instead

I WENT HERE BEFORE AND I KIND OF HATE IT- most of them are cute but aggersive. I wanted to see a samoyed tho. i had to wear my crocs with the baggy plastic bag, some of the dogs kept biting on them and ripping it off. I got potechi to feed. And when i was walking a bit a thing i think its a bark and it has flavor, it was right next to me and a bunch of samoyed dogs came up and made me cry, because they were barking alot. The worker which was sweet, took me to a secret room with my mom and with potechi because i wanted to feed it. I got some info from the worker and pony is the most aggressive and energetic one, while shaun is the sweet and nice one. ( took pucs of it before we left ) I petted some of the dogs and took a pic with some of the dogs. My brotha got bit by pony-kun. When i was watching this, i noticed that it was pretty different then before when i went there. 5.5/10 of this place btw!!

I had a similar smoked mixed with chow chow. Purple tongue, and she was blonde. I had her for 13 yr., it's been 3 years and I miss her so much.

@@bellarina Yeah, you'd need a large apartment for big dogs like Samoyeds. Not only that, Samoyeds are work dogs so they're very energetic.

I think it's uncomfortable for the dog to hold to the leash upwards like that, seemed like there was slight strangulation.
