Mace (aka Gideon (aka Beefcake)) is kind of a meme at this point for laughing the loudest/longest at everything and having a super infectious laugh too. So he was the perfect one to get that curse!

This is because of the amazing animating talent of a man known as Shoocharu. He's known for making very abstract and disturbingly humorous animations.
He used to do animations for The Game Grumps and animated music videos for the Band NSP (Ninja Sex Party)

Although I understand liking the animations more, please watch the others as well. Animations take a lot of time so there are way more funny clips of them IRL than animations
You should check out Dungeon Soup's animated shorts called Chaotic Good Barbarian if you haven't yet. They are both hilarious and traumatizing at the same time.
