    Why do you push the cuticles back before you take the polish off?

    • @youngnailsinc
      @youngnailsinc  2 роки тому +1

      By pushing back the cuticle, it will expose the space around the polish so you aren't working right up to the cuticle when removing the gel polish. This also makes it easier to prep once you have removed the gel polish.

    I have a question, I did these exact toes and my rhinestones, well one from each toe came off after 4-5 days? what could I have done wrong? I did everything the same as Melissa, except I used Ulimate finish to adhere my stones? I don't have gloss. Would I have to remove all the polish to re do them again? or can I re adhere the stones with your YN glue?

    • @youngnailsinc
      @youngnailsinc  Місяць тому +1

      When applying stones, we do recommend using a thicker gel to seal them on. The Ultimate Finish may be too thin to really grip the base of the stones. You should be able to just file off the shine from the top coat, cleanse with Swipe and re-apply the stones. Make sure to seal around the base of the stones with top coat to hold them on longer.

    • @silviacontreras2016
      @silviacontreras2016 Місяць тому +1

      @@youngnailsinc Thank you so much, so then I should definitely get some of your gloss gel? I'll try your suggestion but try adding a more thicker coat of top gel to adhere them or apply another coat after the stones are put on top, until I'm able to order the gloss gel.

      You can definitely use the efile on the calluses. Just make sure you are using the proper bits. Diamond bits and arbor bands work well, but avoid using carbide bits on the skin. Also, working on a dry foot will "sand" off the dry skin without the bits clogging up.

      Pricing can vary depending on what all you are including in your service. What we would suggest is to determine your price based on your other services and make sure you are charging "per hour" what your other services are bringing in. For example, if you are doing a full set that takes you an hour and you charge $85, a pedicure that takes an hour should also be priced at $85.
