I would take the step thru in a heartbeat. So many excellent choices now available, how do you choose and not having buyer's remorse when a new model comes out that would fill your needs even more?
hey there Pedro! happy Monday, my friend. honestly, it's a hard thing indeed. there's always going to be a newer model that comes out in the next 6 months or so with this stuff since everything is changing so rapidly. the good news is, we're at a much better place now than we were a few years ago, so it's hard to go wrong. also, we'll have the step through review of this up tomorrow! hope you had a good weekend, Pedro and be well!
In my opinion, you're never going to the best value on any ebike for the next 5 years until they start mass producing internal hubs and belt drives and they become standard equipment. Why wait when you know every 6 months there will be a better bike than the one you just bought?
By the way, I bought an Ocelot Pro which is NOT the best value ebike. But at $1900, it's a pretty good mix of quality, power, comfort and pricing. Plus I wanted a step-through and a NON-foldable bike. My dream bike does not exist yet, but when they make it for a reasonable price, I will buy one. For now...I got my bike knowing full well it will be obsolete in the next 3 years.
@@electrifiedreviews I have 2 main eBoards and tryin to make space for an eBike with a huuge battery. Those would be my 2 main preferred PEVs. My favourite is probably my mini eBoard, 16-18mile range but small enough to put under a table or behind /inside lockers.
Love the concept would like to build a trailer that is split between to e bickel riders and connect together when you camping for a double sleeping for 2 people and battery capacity don't know how much amps panels are but would like one canopy of mabby 300 wats for long term Turing
Ok, i know i should stay on topic with the bike you are reviewing (which i rarely do lol) but ive been on the fence with buying a bike from MOKWHEEL. Havent heard much about them until this review. I may just pull the trigger and buy the Mesa City after all. And since your next review of a MOKWHEEL is going to be the StepThru, there is no reason for me to wait. I like what i see in the Basalt, that alone tells me i cant go wrong with buying the Mesa City. Brent, no mention of what battery cells they are using for any of their bikes on their site. No LG or Panasonic? Cheaper generic cells?
yes, you rarely do stay on topic with the bike we are reviewing, which is one of the reasons your comments are always so interesting haha! if you want to wait for the step through review, we'll be publishing that tomorrow, and we got the scoria lined up as well for you to take a look at :) not sure what cells they are using for these batteries. i'll ping them and see if we can get an answer for ya. hope you're having an awesome Monday, HackHunter. be well, my friend!
@@electrifiedreviews Thanks for that info my friend. I only have a few weeks before all the SALES are over, Im really diggin MOKWHEEL Heading to my feeds to see if you put out another review! Take care Brent.

@@electrifiedreviews pretty late here in the UK 😂 I've been explorin more ebikes on ytube after work lol
@@eBoard3R nice! do you like exploring other types of personal electric vehicles? like e-skateboards, one wheels, scooters... stuff like that?

@@eBoard3R niiiiice. i need another eboard. those are so much fun. how big a battery do you need? what about a dual battery?
can i unlock the bike’s speed limit to do 28 miles per hour instead of just 20 miles per hour ??
Do you know how to set the speedometer so you can go over 25mph?
On mine it goes faster with throttling rather than pedaling

So this bike can be transformed into a mid drive? If it wants to be done later? What about how comfortable it is?
hi Jaco! i'm not sure, but it certainly looks that way. the Mokwheel bikes are comfy, and a seat post suspension would make them even comfier :)
Frame is the same exactly similar to Himiway Zebra!
We don't need the honky tonk music intro. Just get to the review and save the snap cuts for a teen review vid...
Hahahahaha no that’s concrete. Haha
