  • On Wednesday's Jordy Culotta Show, we finally react to the Les Miles news, which sends Jordy back down the never-ending spiral staircase that was the Mad Hatter Era at LSU. Everybody can get the smoke, as Culotta leaves not only Les Miles in his wake, but also former LSU President F King Alexander.

    That hurts. Someone told me a bad story about Les back in 2012 and it was so ridiculous I couldn't believe it. Now it makes sense.
    F. King I always hated. He used fear mongering and caused half the student to freak out thinking LSU was going to be shut down with the state cutting half the funding. I figured out it would cause a 5% loss to LSU but he refused to say that.

    I hated miles his entire tenure at LSU, sure he won a natty, but his clock and game management from year one was just infuriating

    Yet y'all didn't have the balls to come out with the story WHILE he was here. That's the problem with why he stayed as long as he did.

    The damage that miles and Alleva have done to LSU is incalculable. Don’t get me started on Alexander.

    Skip Bertman deserves blame too. Because he hired Les and was fooled into giving him that big extention.
    Skip also let Saban get away.

    • @earlemorgan5068
      @earlemorgan5068 3 роки тому +2

      Tony Temple Get your facts straight first before you make statements about Bertman. Skip said before the championship game against OU that if LSU won the title game, Saban would always be be the highest paid Head Coach in college football while at LSU. Furthermore, last year when Saban was inducted into the Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame, he said his biggest career regret was leaving LSU. LSU didn't let him go. Everyone knew he wanted to go the NFL - even Sandra Bullock. And who was the one who hired Saban in the first place. In fact, Saban left the program in such high good shape that LSU won 2 national championships since his departure.

    • @tonytemple4351
      @tonytemple4351 3 роки тому

      @@earlemorgan5068 still Skip hired Les when there were better options. He should have let Les leave for Michigan. Saban also said at the time he knew he was a better fit for college football, but Miami just offered too much money to pass up. LSU probably would have kept Saban if they had an AD who would have tried harder to keep him. Skip was a good baseball man but had no business being an AD because he was lousy at it. And it was Joe Dean not Skip Bertman who hired Nick Saban to be LSU's football coach.

    less miles didn't go an entire fan base. I was yelling from the top of any mountain years ago about less. After winning his first Championship I saw cracks in his armor. Before he won it to. Now I don't worry about him anymore. I would get into arguments with other fans about him. Some people really wanted this guy to stick around. But now we have Coach O. I think he's more slimmy than less. But that's a story I've told before to. The whole Joe McKnight (REST HIS SOUL) story.

      The exact thing happened to me by an OU fan. Also, I went to the OU/Aggies game in 2007 with that fan and 2 more friends. While in Norman, many many OU fans made remarks to me about Miles. I wore my 2003 championsip shirt and hat while in Norman. While I was there, I went to a place that sold OU fan stuff. The girl at the register told my fan friend she didn't appreciate my appearance. That made me happy.

      I left at halftime. I remember watching the rest of the game at my girlfriend's house and towards the end of the 4th quarter a sideline mic caught Les yelling "I'm the Head Coach Dammit!" to his Coaches and I was like, "What the hell is going on?!" Then they threw the INT in OT and I said, "Go to F'n Michigan I don't care anymore." Always so much damn drama surrounding him. **side note- I hate Arkansas but they had a badass team that year.

    So why not expose it at the time if you knew. If there were terrible things going on behind the scenes that were being covered up and you knew he was a sleaze ball, why not expose it? Pretty easy to say it now after the truth has come to light and then say “I knew it all along.”

    Are you for real? After his first year at LSU, I knew no one else other than myself that said this was the dumbest coach at any level I’ve ever seen, including the high school level. I was a writer and posted articles on him and I was actually booted from Bleacher Report because ‘Lessly’ fans did not like all the facts I was pointing out of what kind of idiot Les Miles was. And now, it’s laughable how many people that loved him are acting like they always knew he was the idiot I called out, even after we won the national championship.

  • @huntsc1381

    I said it then and I say it today! His ego was on full display when he benched Jarett Lee in favor of Jordan Jefferson and laid the big egg in the National Championship vs Bama! I said then he needed to be fired! What do we do, we give him a contract extension..Thanks Joe! SMH... He was a blithering idiot that never understood the game, much less clock management! Continually hurting the team with his stupid decisions ( see Clemson, VS LSU 2012 check fil-a bowl or ANY Bama game ). People, we couldn't even recruit instate talent and NO QB with any type of talent was going to LSU. It was so bad, that Shea Patterson's uncle quit the LSU staff to keep him from going to LSU and he wound up at Ole Miss. That hurt LSU so bad on a national level with recruiting. ESPN continually reporting that our "in state talent" were not considering LSU seriously under the Miles / Cam Cameron regime. He ran this program in the ground and we are still trying to get out from the stigma he left behind. That is why all the questions now if we were just a " one hit wonder"...GEAUX coach "O"

      I have my concerns about Orgeron as well. However, the Duke lacrosse case should teach us to allow due process. So, let us hold off on Orgeron until the investigations are done. After that, he is fair game.
