So happy for Sage and us as a team! I have always felt bad for the hate he received over the years. From his first year I’ve had a soft spot for him for some reason…even during the missed plays. Geaux Tigers!
It is truly a tragedy at the loss of Harold Perkins. But I don't think we would've gotten this performance from Whit until next year, if ever. I think the need to step up and fill the rolls "He" would be filling. I think what Darry said their other guys were stagnant in their development with all eyes on getting Harold in the right spot to make the play. Every play. I think Harold coming in now would be huge, but had he been here all year I just don't think we'd see this much from everyone else. And there is no better true practice than swatting the pass and stumbling to the INT and stretching for the endzone on their own. You know ? You can't teach that. I think next year we will see an even higher elevation. Especially in getting all these true freshman confident behind the vets. Considering the circumstance. This time last year I was dreading LSU football because of the defense. Now I so look forward to the rest of this year. Geaux Tigers!
I couldn't be more hyped for this weekend. We have great football games and then LSU/TexasAM and also UFC 308. What a weekend 🍻 Let's Geaux Tigers 🐅 #LSU
knowmn Sage uncles for almost 2 decades -- as good as people as you could ever know..sage is special person...2019..me and my son visiting lsu auburn game from nashville...sage big recruting weekedn..at this time he had never met us..we are running late for game -- keep in mind this is his big recruiting weekend ...he waits at gate for me and my son ... LATE -- extremely impressive -- his focus wasnt on himself was on waiting for us ...GREAT DUDE
Let’s be honest, Perkins’ relationship w LSU has been rocky at best. His family meddled after his freshman season, making sure he could play middle linebacker, getting ready for the NFL. But Perk isn’t a middle LB, he’s a sack specialist. He’s a unicorn. A freak of an athlete. Perk is only a junior, so he has another year of eligibility. But if he returns, it probably won’t be at LSU. After Perk got hurt, his mom threatened to sue LSU for violating HIPAA laws.
Weigman was the highest rated QB in the SEC last year before his year ending injury. He beat #5 LSU as a true Freshman in 2022. He's still battling injuries, getting his arm strength back, but to suggest he's Max Johnson is comical...LOL. We'll see on Saturday.
The more I listen to Matt, Tbob & Jake, power hour, & several others the better I feel about this matchup. It will be close! Thru 3Qs, & I think once the pressure starts to build Nuss makes plays & ATM QB makes mistakes. We didn’t pass rush Ark QB, we contained. Them Tigahs will blitz like crazy, look what happened to Dart in the 2nd half. Tigahs by 11, 27-16
The only way the LSU defense would be better with Harold Perkins is if he was playing in a position and mindset that enabled him to dominate the offense like he did in his freshman year when he wore number 40.
He was at wrong position not dat he can't play corner but Sage looks like a safety built like one..too..plays like one it's his Craft let him have his craft just like Perkins.
So this game hinges on QB performance. OK you say LSU QB has more experience. You say nationally televised night game at Kyle Field and LSU is still coming out on top. Let me remind you that #7 nationally ranked LSU (also SEC West champ) went into Kyle Field at night and was completly "Mizzou'd" by a certain A&M quarterback in that game. Has LSU QB ever faced the 12th MAN during a night game? If not, which QB has that experience? WEIGMAN!!!!!!!👍
I like he talks like they made easy work of south carolina, when the refs had to drag LSU to that win kicking and screaming. And basically saying a&m d-line is another arkansas or ole miss d-line is a bold strategy, I hope the LSU coaches go into it thinking that
I doubt y’all have a much better defensive line than South Carolina. If our defense plays like we did against Arkansas it’s a definite win but last Saturday could’ve been a fluke unfortunately. LSU is gonna get points on the board we just have to be able to stop y’all when we need to
@@texasred7408 i guess we'll have to see. I know SC has a good D Line as well, but arkansas and ole miss? Sure ole miss had a million sacks against high schools but that doesn't make them good lol. And we'll have to see, I think it's a toss up, and which version of Weigman shows up may determine who wins
@@texasred7408 Its debatable. I would say the 1-2 punch of Kyle Kennard and Dylan Stewart might be more pungent from a pure pass rushing POV. But depth wise, Nic Scourton is our main guy, Shemar Turner is a second-round draft pick, Shemar Stewart is another second round draft pick, and Albert Regis has been pretty good. The thing is, you're not seeing a lot of sacks yet because Elko has really only brought 4 the entire season. The line hasn't been schemed up. I would expect that against yalls tackle tandem, he is going to open up that defensive scheme like crazy. Also, we have 2 pass rush specialists in Scooby Williams and Cashius Howell who have been playing great football as of late. I'm hoping it will kind of be reminiscent of Georgia vs Texas, where their offensive line just got out schemed. Time will tell, though.

Agreed. He's showing that he IS an elite safety

He got shut down by the Ags last time anyway. They seem to have his number. Hopefully it won’t be a big loss.
These guys have played against Will Anderson and Jalen Carter. There’s nothing they will see on Saturday that is going to be better than that.

Nuss will have a couple of good opportunities to run the ball to get first downs. I doubt they will have a spy.
Nuss acts like he hates hitting the ground so he try his best not to run
@@kingmj205😂 i was thinking the same every time Nuss hit the ground he get up limping 😂 thats my dawg tho, run nuss
they will have a spy on 3rd. downs.
I think Dominick MacKinley will see some playing this Saturday night...

@ivansalazar5448 he's talking about Landon Jackson
Can Harold Perkins come back another year due to his injury from early on this season?

I still see a 2 Td win… like I said about Arkansas….. txam qb is another max Johnson

Supposedly having to move Perkins around was disturbing the chemistry of the defense.
That's the rumor
Is Zealance Heard a starter for the Vols DL?

Is this the best DL we've faced though?

When he single-handedly closed out that game against Arkansas.
No alternate universe exists where A&M wins this game
Are you sure you’re not JD Vance?
Hey Matt... Me and my A&M friend are having a good week picking on each other... I told him don't brag just believe
Someone is going to be exposed this upcoming game, that is a certainty.
