Wow Matt that was great! Didn't know Holy Hill had spirits hanging around. Been there a couple of times but many years ago. Couldn't do it anymore. You really got some good responses! 👍
I love that place! I took some of the blessed water from outside and put it on my knee which was messed up from a botched surgery. It worked. I cant explain it but it worked. I no longer need a cane to walk and dont walk with a gait. It wasnt an instant healing but after a week or so, it started to get better. I had been told I would be in a wheelchair by the time I was 50. Im now 56 and am fine. The last time I was there was in 2008. I didnt know about the cemetery though. Looks like I will be taking a trip back! We did hear the monks singing on our last visit! Didnt see them but heard them.
It's more like "Ghosts" . There are several. Back in the early 1980s, there used to be many wrecked cars that had driven off the road and the cliff on the old way up there. They redid the embankment and started finally hauling them out in the mid 90s, if I remember right. My uncle lives by the archery range by Sussex, and we spent many days exploring Holy Hill, and in certain parts of those woods, you don't go to alone.
Consulting the dead is not God's idea. Nowhere in the Bible do we see God commanding his people to do so. In fact, he expressly forbids it (Deuteronomy 18:9-14). To speak with the spirit of the dead is prohibited and the punishment for such practices was death (Leviticus 20:27).
The grounds closed at 7 and we were careful to abide by rules to avoid trespassing, which is why it looked semi-light out during the beginning of the nighttime portion. Luckily the sun went down before we had to leave, as we filmed in early autumn! 😊
So cool! And what a gorgeous location! Can’t wait for more!

yes, this is a bad site... the voice sounds very messed up... the girly man voice. I cannot handle it and refuse to listen..the Devil is on this page.
The grounds close at six. Who gave you permission to do this?

OMG. You peek out the window watching your neighbors, don't you?!?
Worry about something that actually HURTS others, not going to "closed grounds".
They close now, at 6. They didn't used to. And you can still be there, at dusk, I believe, to be at the top. Those stairs are brutal though...
I live 15 minutes away!!
Been there a few times….. almost 200 steps to get to the top
