- Ex Misfits guitarist Doyle Wolfgang von Frankenstein talks with Eric Blair about his new album Abominator and wanting to get the Misfits back together
"What's your greatest achievement" "my children" he could've said his millions of dollars, all his records, but no he said his children. This is why Doyle is the best
Max Frye yeah man, this dude has a huge heart
On stage he's a monster but behind the make up he's a super chill and sweet dude. It's a shame all the drama that everyone was put through in Misfits but I'm glad that they're mostly on good terms now.
Even hearing him talk about touring with Danzig. Like you could tell how happy he was to be playing with Danzig, so not only was it sweet how excited he got but Glenn had to know that it would just make Doyle happy. I guarantee you that Danzig is like another older brother to Doyle. Ya know?
No millions for Doyle!.. Maybe Jerry and definitely Glenn!.

*"Like* you could"
"Like" does not belong there. Trim the fat in your sentences.
I always love the questions that Eric asks. They are uncommon and not cliche like most journalist's questions. He always brings up the past, doing a thorough interview. he doesn't have an agenda to exploit the musicians he's interviewing. He seems genuinely interested. Love the interviews. He's very good at his job.
The best and least painful Doyle interview. These guys must respect you, Mr. Blair.
THANKS AelfBeat !!!! YOU ROCK !!! PLEASE SUB !!! THANKS AGAIN FOR THE PROPS!!!!
"What do you consider your greatest achievement to date?"
"My children."
It's rockers/musicians like this I have so much respect for.
I like his character in that he is short for words and no nonsense in his intentions.
Doyle's so fucking cool! I remember when I met him I was kind of nervous to ask him for a picture & an autograph, but I did & he was super cool about everything!
The reunion finally happened!!
Thanks to Doyle!!🤘🏼😜🤘🏼
Hellz yes it did!
That was hands down one of the best non softball throwing interviews I’ve heard in aloooooooooong time!!! That was awesome! Very well done!
Looks like he feels really sorry they didn't get back together.
Yeah its almost like he was super calm as soon as he brought up them breaking up
"There is no Peace." Truer words could not have been said.
Doyle: "Just do it, so I did it"
Doyle seems like a cool humble guy. He is a legend and still looks great after all these years. Misfits Reunion!
It never ceases to amaze me how light-spoken Doyle is lol
obviously fucking exhausted with bloodshot eyes... still answered everything. Such a good dude
Excellent interview by someone who actually seems to know about the music and great job at asking those direct questions.
even better" "I cant remember yesterday"-Doyle.....that is more like the best quote ever
Best Doyle interview ever! Thank Eric for not being scared of the monster.
"To get laid" hahahaha
Softt Warr that quote was legendary.
Doyle seems like a really humble dude. I loved his response about not selling something he couldn't believe in. RESPECT.
i've never heard doyle talk
The BEST interview I've ever seen with Doyle.
Doyle, I love you man. You're the only one that tells us like it is and that you are down for 'whatever' as far as the Misfits stuff. I used to think that you were the gruff, mean one in the band... but now I love you best!
This guy is so bad ass......true rockstar haha.
I love how Doyle is so simple and blunt.
"Doyle, what brings you the most peace in your life right now?"
"There is no peace."
The thing that stood out for me is Doyle nailed it on the head when he said it was embarrassing what the "Misfits" had become. He knows you just can't throw anybody on stage and say hey we are the misfits.
Cool stuff. Excellent Video. Was not expecting it to be that good. Keep up the greatchannel vids
I've seen a lot of people say Doyle is stupid. He seems like a pretty genuine and straight up fella to me, and it looks like he's someone who gets asked a lot of (the same) stupid questions (again and again and again). I don;t think I've ever seen or read a mean spirited word from him about anybody, ever.
Great interview as always Eric. You actually ask good questions and take it professionally. Keep up the good work Bro!
He's the coolest NICEST Guy... No Ego No Bullshit, you can tell he really does it for the Music.. I'll tell ya Tonight I saw Danzig and Doyle RIP the fucking plaster from the ceiling and spit fire into the heavens... BEST god damn show of my life since prolly And Justice For all tour...
well seems like out of camera Doyle is a cool down to earth kinda shy of guy..doesnt like fame but he like the shows and the people having fun on the shows..mad respect for him
Wow! You can see his whole demeanor change at 04:28 and all throughout the remainder of the interview. I love this guy and wish him the best. And I too want that misfit reunion. I would fly back to NYC for an Oct 31st show.
His fucking devillock is the most badass thing I've ever fucking seen. It looks like it's just held together with electrical tape,I love it
dudes so chill & cool. also jacked to the gills! very humble frankenstein.
When you turn front view to Doyle he looks baked
Doyle always had that killer style !!!!
eric blair... your interviews are just great... perfect questions.. all of them
Great interview and great questions. Doyle is a man of few words but I learned a lot from this interview. Nicely done my friend. And I’m sure he appreciated no weightlifting or diet questions. Guy just says it like is.
Saw Danzig and Doyle last year in SF and this year on HALLOWEEN. It is epic to see your idols up on stage, I know exactly what he means, yeah we are excited but you can feel how happy everyone is just seeing them together on stage. Great fuckn show, great guy.
Love what you said about giving The People what they Want. They wanna have a good time is what I always feel. Why else would they be there? Finally got to see this interview. Love It.
I swear every interview you do it’s hardcore! You don’t mince word and you get answers
! Love Doyle and your interview was epic! Fuck! Run for politics and questions senitors on an ethics panel! They’ll Answer!!
Thank you Eric! Always a great interviews there
Thanks Daniel ,I just want fans to know that Doyle was actually very happy with the interview he even hung out in the room ,talked and took photos with the Blairing Out crew he was in no rush to leave, He is just a awesome person and he also thanked me for the interview.. Doyle is a pro !
''What gives you peace?'' ''There is no peace'' Classic
Reunion now! Graves on vocals!
after so many failures, he deserves success with his band
Great to see Doyle again! Great interview!
Doyle looks fit, Pumping iron! The man of few words he's not as vocal as his brother Jerry.. He seems really shy don't wanna talk. His album kicks ass , Alissa White-Gluz as his girlfriend..
Doyle rocks!! 🤘🏼😜🤘🏼
The interviewer sounds like Steve-O
Well , I'm 22. Our generation never had the opportunity to see Graves or Danzig.
Great interview hopefully the misfits do end up getting back together .
I don't think he does drugs at all. I just interviewed him and he is just very stoic.
I met the guy backstage at a Misfits show, and for twenty minutes of hanging with the band he said hello, signed some stuff and thats it lol
Thats Dr Chud boy, respect
doyle rules, definitely the most intimidating and badass guitarist on stage ever. and a cool dude to boot, much more chill than most of the other misfits! that's why he doesn't get involved with the petty squabbling like jerry only seems to, i love jerry but he clearly is a greedy bastard!
Am a Huge misfits fan for 8 years .iam 20 now and just Listen to graves and danzig... The First time that i Hear doyle talking and maaaan hes a cool person
He seems very sincere. Nice to hear him speaking about this stuff.
this is the most ive seen him talk in a interview... badass dude a legend
"There IS no peace". That's being honest. In this world there can be no peace.
tell me more about god that has imprisoned us to reincarnation and who has enslaved our spirits
There is peace with God. Unfortunately his God is satan
It seems like there were many many questions one after another, some were really tough questions for him. He seems like a VERY down to earth and chill guy. He's my favorite member, essentially neutral in the feud. Just trying to play some music.
Bought MP3 of ABOMINATOR on amazon when it came out...OUTSTANDING devil music ! Best song IMHO.....MARK OF THE BEAST !
DAMN!! There's soo much cutting and editing with this video! I want the same copy - raw and UNCUT!!
Great questions!!! Cheers!
My favorite Misfit.
Seeing Doyle so ripped made me wanting to hit the weights again.
good interview straight to the point
Its kinda weird... he was always kinda shy and this is the first time I've ever heard him talk. He seems like such a nice guy. Really down to earth..
É um ótimo cd com muita atitude e pegada, gostei dele ter chamado Dr.Chud, muito bom, já está aqui no meu pc.Parece que Jerry está dificultando as coisas com os Misfits tá muito na cara isso!!!
So awesome that he said The Doors. I always thought Glenn had a bit of Jim Morrison influence in his voice
Doyle is a fucking beast. Danzig who? DOYLE NATION!
+The Peoples Champ yep Dan what? Danz where? Danzig who.?.
+The Peoples Champ dude glenn danzig is one of the best songwriters and vocalists of all time, he is clearly one of the most talented musicians ever. doyle definitely owes glenn so much, say what you want about glenn danzig but he seems to be a better guy than he gets credit for....
3:05
A few one-off shows in the end.
I wish a new record or world tour would come some day.
To me, I would rather see the reunion of: Jerry Only, Doyle, Dr.Chud and Michale Graves. Because I believe when it was that "version" of the Misfits, it brought them the most success.
What a truly awesome guy Doyle seems to be!
Right?!!! Man, VERY surprised by this interview!!!
Doyle, you can see the pain in his face. After he asks of why he quit onstage
I don't think Doyle is comfortable throughout most of this interview, so glad to hear him speak though. They were tough questions!
That was an awesome interview. Im surprised there was no talk about Graves though.
I love these HD videos. You can see many details, such as black duct tape in Doyle's devilock.
It's always amusing to hear what they have to say.
This was a fucking great interview, exactly the questions I would want to ask Doyle if the opportunity rose. Doyle is a fucking seems like such a laid back guy, bucketlist is to meet him one day.
This is the ever first time I hear Doyle talking! :D
I saw Danzig and Doyle in Pomona cx kick ass show man
Doyle is awesome
THANKS MAN !!!
He has always been in great shape.
AWESOME !!!
"You can go out there, and you can see they're fuckin' happy." Love it.
You're right. Doyle seems like a very reasonable and down to Earth dude. Doyle rules!
He sung on two albums in the 90s did a good job
luv this guy
If you know where to grab said Misfits dog collar you speak of please let me know.
the original misfits broke up when i was 9 years old. i would love to see a misfits reunion. also, i was praying that this danzig lecacy tour came through my area. i fuckin' love samhain!!!!
I remember the Misfits from the Mabuhay Gardens/Off Broadway San Francisco.
Check out Doyle's new lyric video on Loudwire!
best interview, probably the only interview ive seen with doyle actually talking for more than a couple of sentences, really wierd he looks to be outta his comfort zone after like 7 minutes .
I think it would be cool to have a misfits reunion tour with the graves area opening, then the danzig area closing (its a change of singer but it would be awesome.)
wheres the full interview?give it up
He is a real dude, good interview
What are they talking about with The Misfits starti off with lots of piano? Where can I hear this?
