my wife makes more money than me (only marginally right now) but she is very work driven/talented and when we have kids I'll probably play more of the caretaker role. I'm also a combat veteran, an ultra marathon runner/ironman and will do anything to protect my family. My point is whoever makes the money isn't necessarily the 'masculine' one. We just have different goals that happen to work well together. I'm also still definitely the leader of the family even if she's bringing in more income.

My wife and Julia seemed to have gone through the same mindset change. My wife before she met me said she wasn't getting married or having children. She was going to be the career minded business woman.... we are know married almost 12 years with 3 children SHE chose to stay home and homeschool. Its crazy when she talks about her she slowly changed from the old "liberal mindset" to a more traditional mindset and she loves it now.
I really admire your guys' relationship and I think people can truly learn a lot from the way you guys talk and treat each other.

I've found your content a few weeks ago. I think your videos and content are awesome. I agree with a lot of what you say accept for your love for Kayne lol.. . As a fellow man, that's in his mid 30s, who believes in keeping in shape, with a beautiful wife and two beautiful children now, I can tell you for a fact that when someone says off putting towards you or hateful, it's not you, it that person's own insecurities. Am I perfect... not at all, but one thing that I learned in my early to mid 20s is to be confident and happy with the progress that you make in your own life. Keep crushing it guys.

I'm not even halfway through but this is a very good podcast. good Convo, I definently again with you Dave around 25:00 when talking about how women chase they independent career livestyle and then in their 30's they want to start looking for a mate and starting a family. Oftentimes that biological clock is ticking and it's REALLY tough the older you get to have children naturally.
