I HAD THIS PROBLEM UNTIL I MADE THE (SOFT BODY MESH) INVISIBLE (TURNED IT OFF) IN MY SCENE COLLECTION AND NOW I CAN SEE THE CHAIN AGAIN IN CYCLES AND EVEE. IM USING BLENDER 3.6.2

Hi, I have one question:
After extruding at 6:21, i'm not able to bind anymore since i get an error saying "target has overlapping vertices"
What did i do wrong? Since i'm always failing at this point?
When you stretched the soft body mesh you copied some points that are overlapping now. I hade the same problem. Search here on youtube "delete overlapping verticals in blender". There are short explanations how to fix it. I can't copy the link of the video on the mobile phone sorry. ✌️

stuck at 3:50 :/ no matter what I do soft body mesh just wont animate anything, if i turn goal off in the settings there is movement like the cube object falling but still nothing like yours
I've remade 3 times now and followed down to a tee, any ideas what it could be? seems to be some issue between the end point group not being recognized I think

Hi thanks so much for this video! When I render animation, the chain isn't moving the way it did in the viewport. Could you pls help me with this? I did adjust push, pull and bending a lot more than this video so the chain jerks up and down
Hey, I know this problem in Blender. This can be triggered by many criteria. I would delete all keyframes again and set them new. :)

Well not really. I would make sure to use short terms and try with the sizes of the letters and values.

doesnt work for me the E key. on thsi part everything gets deformed
The chain itself is also defomed. Try to choose different values and a good camera setting so that it is not too obvious :D

Press command and the A Key. Important, you have to be in the objekt mode.
