If you make an envelope back you can sew the front and back together entirely on the machine and can remove the pillow form for washing

Neat! I wonder if you could tack it with a sewing machine? It would be a slooooooow process.
Maybe if you had a sewing machine arm/table that it would lie flat on, otherwise I think it would be hard to keep even.
