You're clamp angle is opposite to what it should be. You need to angle the clamps either level to the workpiece or slightly higher in the rear. The E-Stop only stops the flow of G-Code to the machine, whatever is cached will complete.

An hour and a half to put it together, you have to make your own bed, it has a high learning curve, and you have to pay an upgrade for software. No thanks
