Tiger JK is the “father” of Korean hip hop. He was also raised in US as a teenager, and he is in the scene for 2 decades now.
Tiger Jk is a 48 year old korean-american, he was raised in the US came back to korea and brought the rap-style from US to korea, he is the godfather of korean hip hop and rap basically.

The whole 5 STAR album is a masterpiece.
In answer to your 2:20 rap line/3RACHA question: 3RACHA is not the rap line of STRAY KIDS. Before STRAY KIDS was formed they existed as an unofficial rap group (by unofficial, I mean JYP had not allowed them to officially debut) and the three of them would perform together and release tracks together unofficially. After STRAY KIDS debuted they morphed into the production team of STRAY KIDS and obviously they do still rap together (3RACHA by 3RACHA being a great recent example). Generally speaking, at the moment the SKZ rap line is Changbin, Han, Hyunjin and Felix (think MUDDY WATER, for example). I say at the moment, because none of these guys rest on their laurels, they all seem to be taking lessons in something and the improvement of all of them between the raw talent/terror stage of their survival show to now is astonishing and clearly down to massive amounts of hard work. Chan raps with the others sometimes as you know, and so does Lee Know...
I really enjoy TOPLINE - it was the song on the album I was looking forward to the most after watching the 3RACHA/TIGER JK/JUNG JAE IL spoken word poem MUSIC MAKES ONE performance at the 2022 MAMAs. But actually I now love the entire 5 STAR album.
Tiger JK is a legendary figure. He is Korean-American. He founded the Korean hip-hop group called "Drunken Tiger". He helped developing Korean hip-hop. He is also known for bringing Korean hip-hop into Korea (specifically mainstream Korea).

Oh, I really like this song! Not only because they look more fire than the fire in the back itself (I may or may not have the last shot of the M/V as my wallpaper...). But also because of things you put into words, like the (today's) vocalists parts all together and the rappers having their sections.
And, well, I personally think it's a highlight of the song that they're adding letters to the "bad word" and I love the first one with Lee Know covering Bang Chan's mouth (which is maybe a throwback to "Drive"). I think it's both funny and also very interesting to think about what is considered "bad" 🙄
Did you notice that Felix is a double of himself in his section at the end? He's up there doing his close up part, but he's also down near the fire with the rest. Also, the lyric translated as "your neck must be stiff from only looking up"? 🔥
About Tiger K. thanks to a comment under the M/V I realized that in "HEYDAY" by 3RACHA (and others) there's a line that says "Legendary like Tiger K" so there's that (featuring him in one of their songs, that's got to be very cool).

I did notice that Felix was both close and far at the end but I figured it was having to do with even though he's doing his solo part, he's still vibing with them on the chorus.
And oh yeah that's so cool has to be a full circle moment for the boys going from referencing him to now working with him!

I love this song, I love the brass, that slightly grimy feel (not like the music genre grime, I mean the slightly sticky/tacky/grimy feel that old brass metal gets as it ages if it's not cleaned regularly--I hear that feeling is in the type of brass sound they are using). I love Felix' deep "bom diggy diggy...." and how it picks up and deepens that grimy feel. I love the sway and flow to the beat, and I love how the rappers play off it. The group really respects Tiger JK, they mentioned him in the 3Racha song Heyday and got a chance to perform with him on one of the year end award shows, which led to them asking him to feature on one of their songs.
Yeah, they are laundering money, you can see it in the machine when Seungmin's singing. It's kind of a joke because originally the term "laundering money" had nothing to do with physically washing the bills. It's a term that's been used since way before forensic technology was able to detect traces of substances on physical objects; it originally meant (and still means, in some contexts) cycling stolen or illegal money in and out through apparently legit businesses so the actual (illegal) source can't be traced, so you don't get caught for having too much unexplained income. You probably knew that anyway, but maybe some didn't?
As far as Felix' parts--my understanding is that at first, Felix was a bit insecure and preferred having smaller parts. He had a very short training time (less than a year in Korea before joining the group and going onto their pre-debut survival show), did not speak Korean, and had almost no performance experience before he trained. He didn't even audition as a singer or rapper. Someone noticed his visuals on the street during one of JYPE's Australian auditions, encouraged him to come in, and he passed the audition with just some freestyle dancing. He was pretty overwhelmed with the intensity of training and how much work was involved, struggled hard with learning Korean, and sort of spent the first several years trying to catch up and get his bearings while also performing and learning a huge catalogue of original music. It just seems good luck that his voice happens to be so special, but it took him a while to settle into it, I think. You should check out their early "Victory Song", though, he has a fairly large part in that.
They've been accused of faking mv counts and buying albums to boost their numbers. So "we don't give a f*" and burning the money is a middle finger to the antis.❤
How would they fake mv count? Also every major label on earth buys a set amount of albums to boost first week sales, that's not new. Even publishing companies will buy a set amount of books to get a book on the best sellers list. People really don't know how the industry works lol

WELL, In the song "3Racha" by stray kids (sang by 3Racha, very surprising, I know...), CHAN is singing about LEGENDARY TIGER J.K!!!!! Those are some of the lyrics. They are huge fans of him, he is most definitely a Legend, and HAN was fangirling in the most beautiful way when they shot the MV, TIGER J.K. is his Idol, he loves him so much!!!
I was so PROUD OF HAN in this song, he outdid himself, and probably went even more insane than usual cause TIGER J.K. was there!!!
