Here in northern Germany, the sun currently rises at 5:00 a.m. and sets at 10:02 p.m., nautical twilight is even at 12:30 a.m. and I love these long days! Unfortunately, it will soon be darker again, but that's just the way the seasons go, there's nothing you can do about it 🙂 I had summer vacation plans, actually I would now be in the second week of three weeks of vacation, but unfortunately life has given me another plan and with very good luck I have a week or two of vacation in early September, by which time the summer is unfortunately already over here. 🙈

The red shiso syrup looked amazing, and furikake is always good! Yes, easier to buy clotted cream 😂 I wonder if a slow cooker or instant pot could do it? Clothes are always good for baby gifts. The embroidered card was adorable! It is weird, to be able to go out and be around people again. But so good to see a friend ❤

Hello Nami from England and I am a very old cook. If you could find Maldon Salt Flakes (I think Kaldi may stock them), they would really make a difference, you only dress food with them as they are expensive, but it is English mined salt and gentle in flavour. When you cook steak, cook it with only pepper and then dress it with Maldon salt and it is glorious. Really enjoy joining you in your life so thank you from an old English lady ❤👋👋🏴👵
