$100 to lose like 24lbs in weight is probably the best upgrade you can do.
Lol it wasn't exactly 25 lbs but it was much heavier than the aftermarket exhaust for sure.
I got the istunt for my Ninja 400 around 10 months ago and sound amazing! Love the sound! No complain! 👍🏽
No complaints here either. Been enjoying it for sure.
Thanks for doing a side-by-side at the end. Great video man, can't wait to see more!
Appreciate it.
that gray is niceeeeeeee. Can't wait to see some rolling videos from you and your bike!! congrats man!!
Appreciate it. I will be getting videos up soon.
Looking to get one of these soon myself! I'm looking at the Passion Red SE ABS. Nice video thanks so much, my only issue, is that you didn't let us hear/see the peel of the plastic on the tip of the exhaust... Haha, have fun, stay safe brother!
Got it. Ill make sure to add that next time. Haha
loved the curious bit
Thx for good info with some humour in between. Nice man
I just bought the exact same bike, color and all. I'll probably pick one of these slip-ons up. Thanks for the video
No problem. You will have a blast on this thing. Ride safe.
nice man sounds great!!
ISTUNT is a good exhaust they make full system $1,200-$1,300 and slip ons that cost over $500.00
Hi, I wanted to ask you something, is this exhaust approved for the motorbike (ninja 500)???
because in Italy it is necessary for it to be certified with a suitable sheet.
thank you so much you made a great video
ISTUNT makes great sounding exhaust.
That they do. Can't beat the for a budget friendly exhaust.
@@SethmotoX check out their other exhaust.
Informative, tnx
Got the same bike 😊
This thing is a ton of fun for a little bike!!
@@SethmotoX it is
Who is this handsome man? 🥹😍
sounds good
Appreciate it.
Akrapovich or whatever and LeoVince >>>
You should get the BMWS1000RR. I think that would suit you better!!
Hey man you buy it for me I will gladly rock it!! 😂
Do you have to use a mid pipe or can it go on without it
What is the exact part number/model number i want this exact one
Were you getting any decel pop/backfire? Looking to throw a slip on mine but don't want to get that decal pop which the huge stock exhaust mostly clears it due to correct back pressure I would assume since in most cases a slip on doesn't need to be tuned for. I'd hope with the silencer it has the same back pressure.
As long as you leave the resonator in it doesn't pop. If you take it out it definitely messes the back pressure up a lot and pops a ton. Had it on for past 500 miles now and everything has been perfect.
noice
I got the same bike, but KRT abs edition. Great deal I’m grabbing one! What do you think about the throttle? It feels kinda jumpy.. dunno too much about bikes yet to adjust it
Nice. I wanted the KRT but didn't have one at any local dealers. Bike is defiantly very torquey in the low in gears but is to be expected with smaller bikes like this. Looking to get a quick shift for it soon and kind of see how the bike responses to the change in not having to use the clutch and roll all the way out of the throttle when upshifting and see if changes the jumpiness. 1st gear jumpiness is probably going to be inevitable though unfortunately but we will see.
How long have you been riding? I got a z500 with the same engine and I think it's all in the throttle control
For myself I've been riding for awhile. The throttle is very torquey in the lower gears for anyone including yourself. That's just the nature of a small engine bike like that. That's all that was being said.
@@birddaddydetta its def in the throttle control, i ride a z900 and my girlfriend has the ninja 500 SE. obviously i know there's a huge difference in torque on the bikes but i haven't noticed anything with it being too torquey while riding hers. it has plenty enough power, i just don't think its too much for anyone. they are great bikes for all skills of riders in my opinion
@@TrevIV I totally agree. I think that it's the responsiveness combined with the decent power delivered that can catch one by surprise, but compared to it's bigger counterparts it's nothing extraordinary, just something you got to get used to. A fun little bike! I got it as my commuter while keeping my '93 Suzuki RF 600 for the more spirited rides
That’s a bargain
Agreed!
Bro, how much you paid with fees and taxes for your bike
I’m trying to see if I can get the krt abs version or the regular with abs gray color
Awesome video!
It was like 7k out the door. If I could've found KRT near by I probably would have got that instead. Its a slick looking bike. I like this grey though. I've got a ton of compliments on it already. You wont be disappointed.
@@SethmotoXI paid $7.2k otd
got my 2024 ninja 500 krt edition for 6100 otd
@@OCVariationwow what state
@@OCVariationdoes it have abs?
Would you get it again? Did you do research on any other exausts?
I personally would. Had it on for a few hundred miles now and I honestly don't have any complaints. I would buy it again. I did look into other exhaust but nothing that caught my eye. Im definitely going to try other ones just to compare sound. But can't go wrong with this one.
@@SethmotoXmake a video on them too please! Great content
Where did you get a smoked wind shield?
You can check out my video I made on the windshield. I put all the info for windshield and all on that one.
ua-cam.com/video/7sfjw_-WkAo/v-deo.html
Link for the smoked windshield?
If you hop over to my page you will see video I put out for windshield. it has link in the the description there.
@@SethmotoX the windshield on your bike and the windshield link aren't the same. The bottom Part on the Amazon is a v shape while yours is an upside down kawasaki shaped v. If that makes sense.
I see you didn't watch the video. I wasn't able to find a OEM tinted windshield for the 500s at the time. This windshield fits though.
That ain't no 20lbs bro! Can't be, I'm weighing mine right now.
Lol figure of speak man. Prolly more around 10-15 lbs compared to maybe 4-5lbs for the aftermarket exhaust. Let me know how much it weighs.
Time for the kitchen scales boys. I really want to know the numbers
Dear god I've definitely been going over 6rpms on a brand new bike😭😭
😂😂 I haven't been perfect myself but I was trying to be good. Lol
You don’t want your exhaust to pop that means the air to fuel ration is not correct it’s not a good thing to hear 💀
The poping sound is unburned fuel combusting in your exhaust which means your bike is putting out too much gas aka running lean
And it can damage your engine as a result
In most cases yes. If you have a full exhaust system and it's popping alot anytime you deaccelerate then yes you can certainly damage the engine.
@@SethmotoX since you have the same exhaust how did you fix the issue
I have the same bike with same exhaust
