This is our Mozart. Our Rembrandt. He moves and the world keeps turning; oblivious until his death. It’s better this way. He’s left unspoiled and beautifully innocent.

Maybe you read this! Thanks a lot for the wonderful evening in Dortmund Germany, it was one of the rare evenings for my wife and me to go out. Driving over 200 km, taking my wifes parents with us, to take care of our children in the hotel. We could not leave the children at home, one is only 8 month old. My wife not really has known your music, but I guess she is a big fan, now. I am happy that people like you write music with so much emotions and is able to deliver this with so just some notes. Your music is honest and the evening was good for heart and brain. I have bought me a pa and have moved my synthesizers into our garage. Maybe I start with some notes from Chopin. Thanks again for this Great Evening! My wife said: " We can feel his Grand Mother be around!"

Takk fyrir for this deep insight, Ólafur! It's a nice concept: to re:member yourself while going on a journey called life, where you'll gain experience, get different ideas, implement some of them, take some diversions - but always re:member who you are or rather have become and staying true to yourself. I've only discovered you a few years ago but have been listening to your music ever since, from the early beginnings till now. It's so refreshing that you never stay the same but surprise us with new ideas, with each music you create. Your musical journey has been very interesting and I'll always look forward for your future projects to come.

Dismemberment, deconstruction, fractalisation, renunciation, reinvention is the mother of invention. The bright light always dazzles at first, then a peace descends, the flame dance of the moth ensues, and the universal message elevates the soul. The rapture.

Beautiful video. It’s nice to have a bit more insight into who you are. I’ve only recently found you and your music, but have fallen in love with your musical message. I wish I was capable of imitating it. Maybe someday.

Isaac Batistil Isaac Batistil oh cool. :) just curious, how do you know me? Bass stuff, or more recent stuff? And yeah, I love how Òlafur calls it “minimalist music”. And it’s all so intimate. Very unique.

1StarProductions first comes imitation of masters, then comes originality from the language that was learned by the act of imitation. Originality doesn’t spring from nowhere.

I have to confess. I like your songs which made by your soul. Such as "near light""this place is a shelter""gleypa okkur""Fyrsta""Film credits" and so on. Although I never been to concert to enjoy your music. But trust me, I can hear your thought in these compose.
Now, I'm so regretful that you have lose something in your music, which is the most important for music, for you, for me. I have no idea to explain them. But ,
    Sorry
