Introducing! On the Blue tier. From Philadelphia Pennsylvania. The Reigning, Defending , 2022 APA 8-Ball Classic Champion of the Woooooooorrrld! DAVID "ALEXANDER THE GREEEEEAT" BUUUUUUUUURRRRRRRGEEEEEESSSSS!
Dumbest nickname in all of sports lmfao, plus the guy is a obvious sand bagger
Practice and dedication does pays off..
Congratulations slimm.!!!
Big Slim is a straight banger. Congrats!
Congratulations DAVID ALEXANDER !!!!!!
Congratulations Ms. MALINDA !
Great match congratulations David great shooting
NICE WATCHING HERE IN MANILA PHILIPPINES
I live in central Ohio, how do I get in the APA, are they in Ohio?
Great shooting Slim. So proud of u bro.
I would wish for a visual cue regarding who is shooting when you show the names and scores.
I didn’t have this issue-figured it out pretty quickly.
@@mike2687 I didn't mean to suggest I always have trouble. I was merely commenting I would wish to have a visual clue on the "scoreboard" showing who is shooting.
@@birdmun - right… I’m just saying I knew when Melinda was shooting vs David without any visual aids.
Let’s go Philly!!!
Congratulations 💥
Plays very well for a SL4
How do they determine your skill level before a tournament?
If you are a new player with no history, the APA starts you at a SL3. As you play matches your score is reviewed. They look at wins, innings, defensive shots, opponents ranking, etc. By the time you get to this championship you could have approximately 30 matches, counting a session, playoffs, tournaments etc,
I got 7 minutes into this video and concluded that this has to be a joke. Funny stuff here!! If it isn’t…then sign me up!!😅
David look alike like Kofi from WWE
I dont know man lmfao, David was not a 4. Man is clearly a 5 or more. I think APA got played here.
Was it not a foul on David at 8:32? No balls touching a bumper after contact with an object ball?
He knicked the 13 on the way to the bottom rail
APA is garbage pool. Nothing has to hit a rail after contact with one of your own balls, and the best part is, as long as you hit one of of your own balls first and one of your own balls goes into any pocket at all on the table it's still your shot. Example would be you are shooting the 2 ball down in the corner, you miss the 2 in the corner, the cue ball carooms off the 2 goes 36 rails and knocks the 7 ball into the corner pocket at the other end of the table. Guess what. It's still your shot. Like I said. APA is garbage pool.
Why does it seem like someone from Illinois is always in a final match.
7 foot table with 5 inch pockets
Did these people now read the skill level before watching the UA-cam video, anyway congrats David thanks for repressing philly!
Brother come out those White Socks 🤔🤔🤔
I got tri cup
He should chalk more…..
she never moves the cue more than once...
Don't want to sound disrespectfull, but them two wouldn't make it through to the second round of my local club tournament
Yes and that is why they are playing in the lower handicap event.
As I said I don't denigrate any player ,I'm shit but I love the game ,I was just expecting a decent quality in the event ...I would trounce these two and I'm a novice in my club 🤔
This absolutely shameful what I'm watching here. Malinda had absolutely zero chance against this obvious sandbagger. What I find comical is the commentators making excuses for the sandbagger and or playing it off. Anyone with half a brain and one good eye can see this guy is not the 3 that he came in as. Nor is he the 4 that they bumped him up to. This guy is at least a strong 5. For the commentators to essentially ignore and dismiss the obvious is shameful and cowardice.
I think he is a 4 but I haven't played pool in a very long time. He gets terrible shape As do I
David definitely a sand bagger
Bahahaha absolutely no way that dude came in a 3 and is now playing as a 4. Some serious sandbagging going on. I've watched many many many 3 and 4 level players and this dude is at least a strong 5. Nothing worse than watching a true 3 like Malinda have to play a sandbagger and have virtually zero chance of winning. Shameful.
lay off on the crack. if she took half a second more to line up her shots she would have won 2-0 and you would be whining that she is a 5.
@@mpugne bahaha. What are you talking about, If she would have taken a half second more to line up her shots she would have won? No duh genius. That's like saying to a 2 playing a 9, if she would have taken more time on those 3 rail kicks she would have won. Or telling 3 playing a 7, only if she would have taken more time on that 5 rail bank or drawing the cue ball the length of the table she would have won. It's a ridiculous statement that could only be made by a fellow sandbagger. Use your head Einstein, there's a reason they have people ranked at different levels. If she would take the time to shoot slower she would have a higher ranking. But the fact is she doesn't take the time to shoot slower, which is exactly why she has the rating she has and exactly why she should have played against someone with a comparable rating. To say the guy she shot against was at the same skill level or rating as her is beyond comical. But to say that he came in as a 3 and only got bumped up to a 4 and then shot like he did in the finals without some severe sandbagging along the way to get such a low rating is beyond nonsensical.
@@matthewbaney2660 you don't have to be Einstein to watch the match. First rack she was on the 8 ball it went 7 innings and she lost from not playing a defense but she is a 3 and left an easy win. She had a 4 ball run with a nice cut in the corner she looks to be a good ball maker. He went 0,1,1,1,1,2,2 with 2 defensive shots hardly a 5 that rack and neither showed much knowledge of cue ball control except both have pretty good cue ball speed. Rack 2 went 4.5 innings she again had the longest run with another nice corner cut and he never made more then 2 balls in a row but defense and being left with an easy out, which he almost screwed up helped him get the win. She had 2 balls left. He still hasn't showed that 5 handicap play yet. Rack 3 went 6.5 innings he finally got a 3 ball run but really played the rack the poorest of the match. The Bank on the 10 was a wtf moment but he got help with the foul, she is obviously not a defensive player he is more of one but not really that good at it. With ball in hand for the shot in the side he had a huge window for the 3 ball that naturally would set up the 8 ball although he got lucky with the hit on it. Again she had 2 left and he still didn't play like a 5. Just because the players you want to win loses doesn't mean the other guy should be raised. It was a close match so if he is a 5 she is a 4-5. In reality if he has to play as a 5 he gets crushed every week, and how long do you think he will stay in the apa? The apa already has the worst handicap system and it's people like you trying to raise everyone that makes it worse. Obviously both these players played their hearts out to get where they got to so a huge congrats to them. They got to a place only a few have, cheers to that. Too bad someone has to be an ass and accuse them of cheating but there are plenty of dick heads that just want to be a douche
@@mpugne snooze
Can't take American billiards seriously when I see them playing on childish 7ft tables. Guess it might be the main reason why America has lost its former dominance in pool billiards.
This is APA league, nothing to do with real tournaments. And English 8 ball uses even smaller 6 ft tables. The reason other countries started to play pool better is simple, training programs and effort.
I think I could beat these two. I haven't played in 30 years.
