Really enjoyed that, sitting in my cold house wrapped in a blanket with my warm cat laying on me like a furry hot water bottle.
Made me feel like Christmas is on the way.
Oh well, now it's over, off to get a cup of tea and hot buttered crumpets.
All the best till next time.

Hi Charles. Peter from Noosa Australia. Really enjoyed the lesson on painting snow scenery. This explained a lot.I hope to paint some screens of our high country and these lessons learned will be just what the doctor ordered . But I think I will have to pass on making this a Christmas card. Not much of it around here. Anyhow still working on a visit to catch up with the British cousins. Hope to see you at some stage …???
    Keep smiling
    Peter.

A beautiful painting Charlie and a great tutorial. I am going to have to bite the bullet and start to buy system 3 acrylics, I love the fact that you can use then like watercolours and oils. I look forward to your next tutorial, they always make my week (that's a technical term).

I've struggled along with water colours for a while an d now gone back to acrylics so much easier to use! To me , water colours are ok for doing flowers I'm doing monarch of the glen at the moment I don't think using water colours would work on such a painting what do you think? Thank you for all your tips I will get some of your books started painting about year ago at age 75 loving it!

Another artist, I think Ian King, said if you leave the gate open, the viewer's mind can walk through it. Does that sound daft? Also, perhaps the reason acrylic won't bleed as much when wet is because it's a plastic and suspended in a plasticizer and other stuff that wants to stick, quite different from watercolour paint. Hence it's waterproof when dry. Ask the people at DR though, you must know someone. 😁
Should also say - another great video - thanks.
