Really enjoyed that, sitting in my cold house wrapped in a blanket with my warm cat laying on me like a furry hot water bottle. Made me feel like Christmas is on the way. Oh well, now it's over, off to get a cup of tea and hot buttered crumpets. All the best till next time.

Hi Charles. Peter from Noosa Australia. Really enjoyed the lesson on painting snow scenery. This explained a lot.I hope to paint some screens of our high country and these lessons learned will be just what the doctor ordered . But I think I will have to pass on making this a Christmas card. Not much of it around here. Anyhow still working on a visit to catch up with the British cousins. Hope to see you at some stage …??? Keep smiling Peter.
Thank you Charles, system 3 book arrived this morning. Can't wait to get started. Always loved your style of painting and your witty banter. Keep it up.
I have great fun watching you paint! You make the process quite enjoyable to watch! Needless to say, I tend to load your videos before I paint for inspiration.
A beautiful painting Charlie and a great tutorial. I am going to have to bite the bullet and start to buy system 3 acrylics, I love the fact that you can use then like watercolours and oils. I look forward to your next tutorial, they always make my week (that's a technical term).
Again, I’m amazed. It’s the most wonderful time of the year. Received the brushes and sand. The brushes are great. I love using them. The sand is amazing! So many uses for it. Stay well Charlie. I’ll be watching you.
I remember watching you on tv many years ago on your daytime show. I was so glad to come across you again during lockdown. Years ago I didn’t think I could do this but this time round I’ve bought your paints and brushes and am thoroughly enjoying having a go at your paintings. Thank you Charles for giving me inspiration and confidence to just give it a go.

Just found you on UA-cam channel. I’ve been doing acrylics for a few years I’m going to purchase your beginners guide Acrylics for beginners. I really enjoy the videos how you go in detail and explain what you’re doing. I have used acrylics as watercolors, water down very much but I’m looking forward to reading your book. Thank you
Thanks once again Charles for another first class painting. I have just received your latest book. So I now have every one of them along with the paints and brushes.
I've struggled along with water colours for a while an d now gone back to acrylics so much easier to use! To me , water colours are ok for doing flowers I'm doing monarch of the glen at the moment I don't think using water colours would work on such a painting what do you think? Thank you for all your tips I will get some of your books started painting about year ago at age 75 loving it!
Ohhh noooo! They made you angry - please don’t be You have such a unique and adorable style I love it sooo much, and I enjoy watching you painting And the song for you Lynyrd Skynyrd, Free Bird “Cause you’re as free as bird” Lots of love from us Turkey
Always enjoy your videos, got most of your books and watched you live a few times at the NEC,,, sorry but, System 3 is a new term to me, what am I missing,,,,,?
Wow I have watched you paint and you make it look so easy .. like I can do this(well try any away). Thank you for sharing your work it is very motivational. I love it. Do you mind telling us how you seal the work afterwards. Does acrylic and water paint use different mediums to seal the artwork and what do you use. Thanks 😊
Another artist, I think Ian King, said if you leave the gate open, the viewer's mind can walk through it. Does that sound daft? Also, perhaps the reason acrylic won't bleed as much when wet is because it's a plastic and suspended in a plasticizer and other stuff that wants to stick, quite different from watercolour paint. Hence it's waterproof when dry. Ask the people at DR though, you must know someone. 😁 Should also say - another great video - thanks.

Thank you for the years of instruction. I'm a fan from far back. Do you have any books that explain the proper brushes for watercolor and acrylic.
I use the same brushes for both! Aquafine brushes! If you have a look on my website, they’re all there.
Beautiful mate..👌
Thank you muchly.
I didn't realise you could use acrylics like this... It's a bit like water colour but sort of in reverse !??!
Yes and it means you can put light on top of dark!
Always enjoy your videos, got most of your books and watched you live a few times at the NEC,,, sorry but, System 3 is a new term to me, what am I missing,,,,,?
Daler-Rowney system3 acrylics.

Do you mind telling us how you seal the work afterwards. Does acrylic and water paint use different mediums to seal the artwork and what do you use. Thanks 😊
Thank you very much. I use an ordinary paint on varnish, or a spray on varnish.
Hope you get a break from your busy schedule - sure do miss your videos!
Belated birthday wishes Charles.
Thank you very much.

Thank you so much. Ian is a cracking bloke and colleague.
What brand paints did you use for this? Returning to painting, finally retired. Thank you, Deb in the Berkshires of Massachusetts USA
It’s an acrylic!
🙂 Tks, Deb
Nice!
Thank you.
I didn’t realise you could add so much water to acrylics, almost like watercolour for the sky.
You can treat them exactly like watercolour if you wish.
@@charlesevans7706 thank you. I will have to try them.
Thanks, Charles!
Charles is the picture to your left a future demo?
No, I did that as a demo to an art society.
개가잇는풍경, 좋아요👍
Thank you.
Great, thank you.
You’re welcome.
Don't mess with Charles!
Ahahaha.
I'd probably have given you a like anyway, but I certainly had to when I heard your 'don't teach me how to paint!' comment: bloody well said!
Ahahaha, I don’t suffer fools or the sad people who just live to complain about something!!
Hei ! 😍😍😍
I was to much in a hurry but I see it’s langton
not telling my granny how to suck eggs but your rigger seem very thick, would you use the same no.4 for ship rigging?
It’s the only one I use.
...I see both of your
pallets as "works of
art" along with the
beautiful paintings
you create..🙏
Don't listen to the
dim-witted jerks.😏
Ahahaha, idiots don’t bother me. I do like taking the mickey out of them however!!
Oh yes, i thoroughly enjoyed that one Charles….oh and re the moaning minnie, why cant people just mind their own business !!
Because some sad people just love to moan!
@@charlesevans7706 Lol, yeah i agree
