    Two comments...
If you plug that jumper into two receptacles as is shown at the 3:00 point in the video and it's a split kitchen receptacle, you will definitely blow the breakers for those circuits.
I know a linesman who was very close to getting critically injured from someone back feeding their service. Please be aware of the risks of using these.
I would like to see more videos about installing mini split heat pumps, especially concealed duct indoor units.
Thanks for all the great and very informative videos.

As an older subscriber to your channel with limited electrical knowledge, I really appreciate videos like this one. You have give me the confidence to at the very least consider alternative power sources for heat in the case of emergencies such as winter storms. I used to have a 7500W gasoline generator-but that died and I bought a small Bluetti power station-would not mind seeing an episode about using an already installed (for gasoline generator) generator switch with 20W 4 prong plug (the switch has ABCDEF breakers-each with a 15amp fuse). Thanks again.

There is a missing link to your option #2 setup that would make for a great video (and something that I haven’t seen on UA-cam)! Using an outdoor outlet on the exterior of the house, wired to an indoor inlet inside the house, you could keep the Bluetti power station indoors, use an extension cord to plug it into the indoor inlet, and then use the 50amp to 15amp adaptor plug to connect the 50amp inlet to the outdoor 15amp outlet. This allows folks in very cold areas with indoor electrical panels to have a standby system that just requires them to flip the interlock breaker, and will allow them to run critical circuits off of the Bluetti while they get the portable generator hooked up. Certain power stations that utilize swappable batteries would be able to be hot-swapped from the comfort of indoors. Also, you would be able to have lights, furnace, sump pump, and garage door opener available to get your larger portable generator out of the garage and in action. The alternative to this setup would be opening a door or window to run the extension cord from indoors to outdoors, however this is not ideal in an extreme temperature or hurricane scenario, and can be dangerous if the window is left open once the portable generator is turned on (due to exhaust entering the house through the window). The above method should be code compliant, whereas an adaptor made for RV shore power being passed through the wall of a house would not be code compliant (no extension cords through walls). Please make this video!

Your channel is the best, I have learned so much from it. I have an oil furnace and wish you could do a video on filter replacement with air bleeding and other general tune up items.

Thank you, your videos have helped me with issues on both my air conditioning and my gas furnace, I am considering how to supply enough backup power to keep my gas furnace and refrigerator running for days with a solar add on.

Thanks for all that you post. As a "newbe," I have found tremendous value in your content. I have used your knowledge to troubleshoot my gas furnace issue. I have also decided to make the changes to my furnace so I can heat Mt house in the event of a power outage. Similar content that equip home owners not to be intimated by simple repairs would be great content. Thanks again.

Your videos on safely keeping the heat on during blackouts are great and could be lifesavers in more ways than one. I’d love to also see maintenance tips for oil boiler heating systems.

I’ve gotten some useful tips from your videos. Had a power outage a few weeks ago and because I watched your videos on how to hook up the furnace to a generator, my house was kept warm. I also picked up a power station as another source of electricity. How about a video on power station safety such as what to do in case of an emergency, storage, over charging and such. Thanks for all you do!

Each video is an education that we should have learned in our youth, long before we were home owners. I'd like to see more ideas on how to insulate your home to improve the efficiency and lower overall bills. Also, enjoy seeing more videos on identifying the correct projects of outside AC fan units. Thank you Dave.

Let me know if you need any volunteers with HVACs that you can make videos off of in the SLC area. I have two. :)

I really like your videos. They are simple and easy to understand for a DIYer. I would love if you could keep talking about what to do if we loose power. The use of the solar generator was great. I use Bluetti products as well. Please add any videos that what help people if the power goes out. Maybe something for an electric A/C unit 4-5 Ton. Thanks.

This channel is great! Have bought some of the tools you recommend. Have also swapped out a condenser unit using knowledge gained here. I wonder if you have serviced oil fired heating units as well. If so, would like to see how you service them and how you adjust the air shutter to make it most efficient.
