Owned a steam deck oled for almost 3 months. Greatest handheld gaming console I’ve ever owned. I’m a new fan of Valve and look forward to its future projects.
@@xr-uw8vq I had the same dilemma a month ago. A PS5 or a Steam Deck. I came to this conclusion: Exclusives are shifting to timed exclusives as far as the games I want on Playstation are concerned. God of War, Horizon, Uncharted and others. You just need to be patient and by patient I mean at least 2 ish years patient. I don't mind waiting and I can barely play mg PS4 anyways since I'm so tired at the end of the day. I can bring my Steam Deck on my commutes or while waiting. Already finished Bastion and am playing the rest of my backlog. On top of that the sales are steep. You can also do emulation.
nice video as always, i think steam deck is the most user friendly pc handheld and easy to use than another brand, and the game compatibility on steam decks are also good
I am willing to try especially for GamePass. I am hesitant thought because alot of the features core to the steam deck will be lost. The biggest issue will be the horrible OS of windows compared to a super light steam OS, this will cause battery issues and I wont be able to game as long. I also will probably overwork the Steam Deck causing more heat on to the APU. But still willing to try it!
Eh. I have both. Trying to decide which to keep. It’s tough. I’m leaning more towards the Ally. Steam Deck has great ergonomics , OLED screen, and great battery life Ally has better performance, higher res screen, and can play games from any game store easily. It’s very hard to pick which one is better.
I stand corrected, it is not lighter but for some reason I feel its easier to hold and does feel like it. Bit of an oxymoron there but you really have to try it out, they feel like completely different devices.
@@MannyRataul I got a steam deck OLED recently to test. Wanted to know which one I preferred. I still prefer the Ally, but the SD OLED feels great in the hand and somehow does feel lighter.
your recommendation it's useless, do u know what that anti glare does to oled ? basically it's ruining all the oled benefits, so the only good option it's the 512 gb and do yourself a ssd upgrade later if u don't have enough space
My recommendation is based on my experience, I do not like glare and I am willing to forgo some muted colours to not have it. The OLED with ant anti glare screen is still a better screen than the LCD.
Yeah, I absolutely hate any kind of anti-glare coating on screens. I've always loved the glossy screens on CRTs, plasmas, most OLEDs and some higher end LCDs. Matte finishes always create a very flat, dull look to images to me.

With the back buttons, there are two placements for activation on the rockers. Try pushing instead of squeezing for better effect.
Great video 👍👍would you buy steam deck or the new msi claw?? Thank
Well I already have the Steam Deck and love it and reccomend it to everyone. I will try and get my hands on the MSI Claw and give it a go too!
@@MannyRataul thanks for responding👍👍
Thank you for the honest review. Got one question tho, does the battery drain much when the device is put to sleep while running a game?
There is very slight drain, but not significant.
@@MannyRataul Should I buy a portable or fixed gaming device like Xbox and Sony??? What should I buy?
Should I buy a portable or fixed gaming device like Xbox and Sony??? What should I buy?
Depends on your preference, do you like gaming on the go?
@@MannyRataul Yes, but I don't know whether to buy a portable one or a fixed one at home

Thanks for watching!
Would you install windows 11 on it? Allowing for more to be installed? Ik that steam has the drivers for it

This handheld seems so much better than the ASUS ROG Ally. Great video!
I agree, its much lighter and not having to worry about burning my hands is also a big plus 😂

Bluetooth 6.0 & WiFi 5.3?
Buetooth 5.3 and Wifi 6E****
512 for me h8 the look of a frosted antiglare screen
Yeah, I personally hate the look of anti-glare screens on any display. Glossy all the way for me. I chose the 512GB version for that reason
Get an anti glare screen protector, they work great
Thanks for the tip!
I hate anti-glare screens, though. So if I get a screen protector for my 512GB model it will have to be glossy
@@cyberedge881 luckily that has been a plentiful option
The 7.4 screen is to small for me so I got the lenovo legion go 8.8 screen it so nice
