Hi! I like your video. Can I ask you the factory height of the saw deck? Looking at pictures of sawstop table saws, they look sort of too low, uncomfortably low to work on. How high exactly was your outfeed table? Thanks! Keep up the great work!
Thank you for watching. On the mobile base, it's 34 and about 1/2. I think saw only is 34 tall. I'm 5'-6" and find it ideal. Personally, a little shorter wouldn't hurt, lol. My outfeed is the same height now, after I raised the saw 3/4".
Oh right that makes sense, sorry if I missed that. I'm debating on not screwing mine down, I get that it would be more secure but something about randomly drilling holes into a new saw just feels wrong. Too bad they don't pre-drill and thread it.@@ChristcrossCrafts
How much of a "lip" is there between the saw case and the edge of the cast iron top? Enough to use lifting straps and a block & tackle to lift the saw high enough to get the mobile stand underneath? Sawstop says find 4 strong friends to lift it...
@@davezak5870 Thanks for the gentle reminder to follow up... there was enough of a lip to use my 1" lifting straps (just outside the cabinet) and get the saw on the ICS. Nice and stable for the 4-5" up-and-down lift. Would have made a terrible piñata...
@Dave Zak yeah, I didn't have a hoist option so I left the wings off. Had I thought it through further, I would have added the wings, jacked it up, and let it down.
I got the larger over arm dust tube. It has a leg that extends to the floor, as well as cross brackets, because it's considerably more heavy than the smaller one that mounts to the back of the saw.
@@ChristcrossCrafts nice!!!! I have heard mixed things on their lift. A lot of people regret it. Check out the incra lift it’s also made by jessem. It also has magnetic plates which are awesome!
@@ChristcrossCrafts thanks I appreciate that. I am just about to assemble my PCS and didn't want to put a bunch of holes in the nice paint. I'll make sure everything looks good before screwing it in.
@jeffhildreth9244 no, I didn't have that or it would have been in the video. I've sold over a hundred sawstop saws through my work and never had any complaints about that.

Just ordered a 3hp PCS, glad I stumbled upon this, great video!
I'm glad you stumbled upon it as well. This is an amazing saw and worth the money.
SO glad you're back!!
Thank you! I'm very happy to be back.
You a strong man it's an awkward weight to move. Just got mine 😃
Clearly, it's not strong enough in the mind.
If only I had a liftgate truck, and a pallet jack.................
This was very satisfying. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching. Seems things never go as expected, but there's always a way.
Awesome! Congrats on the man toy!! 😁😉
Thanks for watching. It makes such a difference & I'm glad I got it.
Thanks for you clip. Would you tell me what design is the male electric plug.
If you are referring to the power plug, it's a standard 220 with horizontal and ground.

@@ChristcrossCrafts - thanks!
I like watching illiterate assemble anything. Great video.
You said more on the self tapping screws later on but didn’t catch anything. Did you find they are not necessary or…
I had to move them when I had to raise the saw to elevate it to match my old outfeed

There is enough space for straps. I didn't have a way of hoisting it or 3 strong friends available, so I got it done the only way I knew how.
I didn’t trust the very small lip, so I first attached both cast iron wings before using straps and my chain hoist to lift it onto my ICS base

Hi man. what is the third leg on the right of the saw ? I'm really curious !
I got the larger over arm dust tube. It has a leg that extends to the floor, as well as cross brackets, because it's considerably more heavy than the smaller one that mounts to the back of the saw.
That’s it I’m getting one
I have NOT been disappointed. I just ordered the SawStop lift and the new spindle motor from Jessem.

I glanced at it but like the four-post chain lift design. It's less likely to move or shift compared to the 2 or 3 post options. @@kevinb6102
@@ChristcrossCrafts interesting that’s good to know! Thanks for sharing
Why did you make the comment aboit screwing in the mobile base to the cabonet. I am about to assemble mine. Are the screws not required?
They aren't required, but rare definitely recommended. After I had to shim the machine, I had to relocate mine to accommodate the new height.

Was that a saw stop router table wing or an aftermarket wing?
That is the sawstop wing. I preferred the left side over the right.
Good luck..hope you don't need to talk with their "customer service".
I have about something else and no issues.
@@ChristcrossCrafts Did you have an unusable, defective saw as I did. ?
The saw had to be returned for a badly warped table top,, 157 Thousands off.
