To help with lag try turning off projectiles and using small towers setting. You would have less stuff on screen to render in. It helped me so maybe it would help you.

Marquis you can if you get a spike upgrade change the targeting to normal and if you get perma spike it gives you the smart targeting and i think its only for the perma spike
