Hey when it says 0.xx attack speed it is not making the tower attack slower, it makes it attack faster. So for example 0,95 attack speed makes you attack 5% faster.
Your math is slightly off, but you are otherwise correct. x0.95 means the attack speed increases to 1/0.95 times its previous value because the attack cooldown decreases to 95%. So the tower attacks about 5.26% faster.

It hurts seeing all those really good attack speed buffs he didn't take cause he didn't realize that the lower the attack speed number, the better it is. That's cause it's going by attacks per sec. so 0.7 means 70% of the time it'd take for him to attack again.
Dude, the lower the attack speed multiplier (x0.7 for example), the better it is. There will never be an upgrade that has more than x1 speed because that would be a nerf.
