He was French and loved traveling to visit his younger sister who lived near Paris. He was very fit and active all his life and bought his first Mac computer at age 81 and an IPhone. Before this departure from Windows PCs, he was always teasing me that windows was better than Apple. But after he bought his, he readily admitted that his attitude had changed. I had a paragliding lesson with my dad, it was fun. He didn't go with me again, but he enjoyed it. I think walking back up the hill each time to jump off was hard for him. I was a lot fitter, being a rock climber and mountaineer. I had a good session where I did figure of eight's along the hillside. Eventually had to crash land when the wind got too strong. It was blowing me backwards. I wasn't hurt. Startled a sheep. Decided to stick to rock climbing after that.
