From Las Vegas... your explanation of the downswing, coupled with the concept of visualizing a "pizza slice" is brilliant! Thank you Giles for being the BEST COACH ON THE PLANET!!!
This drill goes nicely with my last lesson from you. I used the Skillest platform to mark up my video and I did indeed see that I am still hitting the top of the pizza slice. I’ll need to do more pump drill. Thanks so much for this video.
Update. It's alright now. Coincidentally, I managed to crack the club face impact after years. Just like that. Wow ! Matrix... Can you show the slow mo on the club face contact pre - and post ball impact hand. You thorough analogy on club face contact. Thanks. Most amateur and recreational golfers fail to execute it consistently
In order to practice your "pizza slice method" Giles, it seems that your split hand drill and the shoulder rotation drill will be very complimentary! Well Done Giles! I like this thought in creating a sound swing!
I am glad that I found you on You Tube and find your videos very helpful. I am 72 and struggle with rotation and a slightly steep downswing. I liked the “ pizza slice method” but wonder how your ideas on shallowing the club on the downswing ( rotating the forearm) from previous videos fits in with your ideas on balancing chest rotation and bring the handle down quickly so that the club head stays within the pizza slice. Thank you
Because you mentioned shallowing I’ve actually just filmed a video today that will go out in the next couple of weeks on shallowing. I just need to edit the video which will take about a week or so.

Slightly open to slightly closed but depends on release style
@@Gilesgillgolf thanks. Is club face toe slightly lifted upon set-up position ?
@@oceanyt8 yes

Thank you! It’s super simple when filming your swing to analyse

Awesome 👏 😎 excellent!
And I’m getting hungry for pizza and cake too 😂 👍
Great combination!
I should also say that I can see how important the rope drill is to make your swing fall within the pizza slice.
Yes the rope drill is great for this
One time the golfer said to his caddy oh hell sliced that
The caddy retorted
No it's not a slice it's the whole cake 😅
😂😂😂
I always eat a piece of pizza while swinging the golf club it hasn't helped I tend to slice..😢 I may have misunderstood the drill.
Bit cheesy
