    Hey, I watched most of your videos and what would really ameliorate the experience is having a few seconds of preview of the result sound a the beginning of the video so we know why it’s built this way. Thanks a lot, I learned so much with your videos.

      Yeah. No one is going to build something they can't hear, and anything LM386 sounds like ass anyway. It's not anything I would choose for any type of sound quality or a decent distortion tone.

    I like that you show how you are building the pedal and explaining the what and how to do it, in detail. That’s the best part. You share your knowledge. Thank you for your insight. Show me more!!

    Lights and the camera rig are huge improvement. Good work. It didn't obscure the view but on the white board you could see the LED reflected. Maybe put the light at a slight angle to get rid of that. Keep up the experiments with these. I'm planning on making the 2$ distortion pedal with this circuit and a BazzFuss in a pedal.

      the light are at an angel but yeah I saw it too when I was editing the video I think I have to make some sort of mate box for them or something but at least it seems to be an improvement so that's great! thank you for telling me 😃👍

    I find with this circuit it acts like a fuzz. Turn up the volume, rip the knob off. Use the knob on your guitar to clean things up.

    Sounds nice! I bought a bag of those boards after your previous video and have been using them for some other sound experiments, but I also have some ideas for setting up a distortion pedal. I like the ability to blend the two 'flavors' of distortion with this rig. Also, your camera setup worked well, and looked professional.

    I am really enjoying these videos as inspiration as I am getting back into building amplifiers. A voltage divider made out of a few resistors at the output of the bat diode circuit could be used to match the volume levels. Could also use a trimmer potentiometer to do the same thing but adjustable.

    Could you implement a dry/wet pot? Or a Bat/Red pot?
    I guess wiring bat and red wires (or dry and wet ones) to left and right legs of the pot and actual output on the middle one might work?

  • @minkorrh

    I's hardly worth wasting the time, money, and sweat when you consider what's available to be pieced together.........LM3110 amp boards, Lekato (and others) headphone modellers,........you can build a cheap stereo practice amp for about $50. Now if you want the experience of building, you can have it but will end up with less, and much worse sounding 'less'.

    One question, maybe I missed this: why are you using 10k pots? Didn't you use 1k pots in the first video?

    • @zurowetz
      @zurowetz  7 місяців тому +1

      Yeah so that was a mistake I did when I measured the trimpot it said 1k but all LM boards are suppose to have a 10k trimpot on them and I have checked all after that video and they all have 10k it was only that one that was weird and so I use 10k now and if you're building it you should use 10k too🙂
