Schaub's biggest problem is he's suffering from a major case of the Dunning-Kruger effect. Anthony Cumia's brother was the guinea pig for all of this hardcore trolling of an attention craving dunce and by the time Brendan Schaub came around into the comedy world, the O&A subreddits were banned and TFATK subreddit adopted a bunch of the veteran trolls that needed a new target who was higher up in the food chain than Samcro Joe.
Ive been saying this for years too. Its definaltey Dunning Krugger.
Brendan,at the beginning put to heart Joe's "dont mind the comments/criticisms" dogma. that caused him to not know his real score and not adjust accordingly.

I just got your vid in the algorithm and I was like, what the hell does that guy do anyway? I would just see the occasional vid with him and Rogan and Eddie Bravo talking about UFO's. Keeping track of the UFC stuff in addition to boxing, bball, Rugby, Tennis, Ice Hockey etc is just not going to happen, hence why I had no idea what he does. Anyway, your analysis of where this guy went wrong is cracking me up, so do continue. Also OJ's dead!

I know someone who is a fan of the Rogan group, including Brendan. He's a fan because he doesn't know about all the hate against those guys. He doesn't watch the same content we watch/match. Would he ever buy merch or go to a show? No. But he listens to the fight companions and various collab shows.
yeah that makes a lot of sense, i think the majority of comedy podcast listeners are like your friend, they listen to for fun and entertainment they don’t get super deep into it like we do with reaction videos and reddit blah blah.

nah its too late, he's just not a good dude and is very unlikeable, thats a part of his personality. he's 41 years old, married with 3 kids and is still successful dispite all the fuckups. he has no incentive to change. its never going to happen. thats why i just enjoy the shitshow for what it is 😂

The truck thing is big in so cal. People probably kept commenting "got a big truck but doesn't do truck things" and ALSO, he knows there aren't any other "celebrities" or comedians into that zone. He's gonna get into camping and offroading. It's a natural progression. Hell get a trailer and tow side by side offroad buggies.

That's why you see them eating at random places saying it's the best spot, or wearing weird ass shit, saying "I'm fashion forward". They just wanna stick out. He has no real personality.
