Your videos are never too long for me.I find myself thinking "is it over already!" I wish I could go thrifting with you. You have a great eye for just the right pieces! I can't wait to see your tavern room finished. Thanks for the tour of your lovely home!
I love your home and style, I am a transplant to the Midwest and am still homesick. I do like the bright colors of the cook books, I they work and more importantly they're what you love, and that is what makes your house a home, and a classically beautiful one too! So much of today's decor is matchy, matchy and just looks contrived and unstylish. I believe a home should reflect you and your tastes, yours is just lovely! Thanks for sharing it with us!
Linda, Thank you for taking us on the tour. I really enjoyed the video. You have definitely inspired me. Those bar stools lovely. I love everything. You have impeccable taste and the items you find are so pretty and the prices even better, who knew. I’m already looking forward to your next video. TFS! Xoxo 😘
You have such a beautiful home and I adore your style I love the way you took us around your house, showing us the realness of it all: clutter and fail buys included 😊 Looking forward to seeing all the room updates you have planned
I absolutely love your kitchen, I can see myself cooking in that kitchen ❤️. Your home looks so warm, cozy and inviting. I’m new to watching your videos and I’m really looking forward to seeing more.
I am so happy that I found you this week. I live in Western Pennsylvania and I am on my 3rd house doing small remodels working my way up to a forever home. I love thrifting and dream of restoring an old home and furnishing it with only secondhand finds. Thank you for sharing your time and talents.
The little tins are jello molds. We had them in our home when I was growing up. It was turned upside down and usually had a dollop of whip cream on it or a dollop of mayo on it.......especially if it was lime jello with shredded carrots in the lime jello. Mother always turned them upside down and after a few minutes they just slid out from the heat in the room. Only removed right before serving them with dinner or luncheon so the jello held up. Love your dishes........I love different dishes and a variety as well.Blessings
I can't get over the kitchen stools for the island, they are so lovely, and for $45.00 each! Amazing! And I can't believe that tall clock was only $25.00! What great finds! I just love great finds like that!
The molds that you showed first are for a french dessert called "Canelè De Bordeaux". The dessert is made with bees wax to make the perfect crust. If you got those molds for a dollar you made quite a purchase! The short, fluted molds are Brioche Pans.
I love your channel. I love it is not farm house too. I live in a small home but I have lots of ideas from yours. I to love junking. Its thrift store and consignment shops. I call them my favorite haunts. Me and my friend go together. Sometimes my husband who has came to love the bargains. I am making a rule if I bring something in something has to go out. Any way been watching you and have to do some catch up. God Bless you and may this year bring many Blessing to you and your family.
Your home is very lovely. I’ve always admired New England Style Homes and was excited to finally see Martha Stewart’s old home on Turkey Hill Rd. In Westport in 2018 as I’ve admired that home (and her) for years. I refer to it as my “dream home).
Wow! I haven’t seen Ironstone since I have been to my cousins’ grandmother’s house when I was around 10 years old. Strange what memories we retain as young children. I’m keeping that in mind when my grandchildren are at my house. I want to redecorate my house but my 2 year old grandson always points to a large wooden star above the couch and a picture of our chocolate lab and my son’s pit bull that was printed on canvas. Loved the video.
You have such a beautiful tasteful home and it makes it all the more special that you used thrift store and consignment items. I love thrifting - you never know what treasures you will find!
Love your video.A lady after my own heart with thrifting and consignment shopping. Your have a beautiful home! I will be looking forward to seeing more of your designs.
Always look forward to seeing your videos. Everything looks beautiful. You have found some great things thrifting. I love antique shops and thrift stores. The stools and queen painting are to die for . Also love the lanterns above your mantle. Your home is perfect to me. I love unique things in my home and not like everyone else decorates with.
Thank you! I agree. I used to own a store and I always had new and pre-loved furniture and shared the fact if you blend in the pre-loved, their home will be unique
Is it the same pattern? Mine might be a rice bed too. The name of the bed eluded me during the video and now that I’m hearing that, I remember selling rice beds when I sold reproduction furniture many moons ago.
Your bed appears to be exactly the same as mine except the long part of the poster of mine has groves. The carved rice grain part is the same, and the part below has carved leaves which I think are tobacco leaves . The rest of your bed appears to be just like mine. I have a matching highboy, and both are solid mahogany . I just discovered your youtube and look forward to viewing many more.
Linda, Love your consignment finds and your bargains! My adult daughter feels the same way about Ina…always a successful recipe. Thanks so much for sharing your home and beautiful home decor.
Love your wit, honesty, home, garden and day trips. Fellow NEnglander and kindred spirit here, a year into buying our 1848 Colonial after 25 years in a small ranch! I discovered you on you tube recently and your shows inspire me! Thank you.
I enjoyed your style of decorating, and the wood chairs are amazing. I decorated my whole Island home in second hand finds, sure is fun to walk around my house and tell stories of my acquisitions. You really can find everything you need to set up home at Thrift stores, it might take you awhile to find the dream pieces, but they are out there and can be found. The Millennial generation loves thrifting. Cheers!
I think the aluminum molds were used in the 1950's to mold individual jello salad molds, perched on a iceberg lettuce leaf. My mother had shorter ones that she would use for special dinners. Was considered quite stylish 😊
I just found you! I just Love your channel! Your simple style is just beautiful and you are very relaxing to listen to and you’re totally inspiring. Looking forward to following you with your journey to your new home! It looks like a little bit of Heaven. Congrats!
Im so glad I stumbled onto your channel. This is an eye opener for me. You have beautiful pieces/treasures. Thanks so much for sharing. I have subscribed to your channel.
The paper whites look pretty. I would love to see what you put under the cloche when you change it out. I'm looking for something really interesting for mine. It's out there somewhere 😊 love the queen art ....and, the bee linen.
When not actually out in the garden in the spring, I do put so many things under it. I will have to go through some of my old Instagram pictures to remind me of what I have used. LOL

You have a lovely home. I'm new to your channel and this is the first video I've watched. I'm looking forward to watching more and gleaning some decorating ideas from you. I see we have some shared likes. I also have all white Corelle Ware, and clear glasses. I think good looks best on white dishes. I enjoyed your video, and will watch again!
I love thrifting and consignment shopping, buying and coveting all things for the home! Love your house! You probably have already had responses to the aluminum molds that you held up in the kitchen (and asked what they were). The second set of fluted molds are for shaping and baking brioche dough....those look to be individual sized portioned containers. I made brioche in culinary school; but, you can use those for shaping (other than baking) foods for individual portions.
