I struggled with the Em7, but found that bringing my hand more parallel to the guitar helped a ton aftee seeing how Justin was holding it

Howdy Justin from the past. Rather than an Em#5, I play a C chord. Consider that just another arrangement.

this was the first song i kind of learned! Justin really does make the best tutorials. Was really struggling with playing song with chords, felt much more comfortable with TABs and riffs. But with this i feel like i still have hope learning to play song with chords! :D
Also this was the only song i liked from beginner grade 1. I'm more metal/hard rock guy, but surprisingly you can find new nice song when you start to learn guitar. Never would have tought that i would like beatles.

Hi Justin, on the version of Eleanor Rigby on your app, at no point there is 8 bars of Em in a row. Is there a mistake somewhere or maybe you chose to do it this way?

Hey Justin, what is the BPM for this song? I read online that it's 136, but I am really struggling to play the song at the BPM. I tried playing at half that speed (about 67 BPM), but that was hard and awkward, too. Do you have any tips?
136 - 137 is the tempo.

Hi Justin, having problems with chorus and E chord, can't get pinky to press properly on second string on third fret, and my ring finger keeps touching 3 string, i know all about practice, but just not getting anywhere, just cant get pinky to move on its own.

You're too hard on yourself regarding the singing. I wish I'd sing like you. Not to the speak of guitar playing. Another great lesson, Justin. You're defintiltely my favorite.
Great lesson, but I was confused by the song structure - you said it goes "Bridge, verse, chorus, verse, chorus, bridge, chorus" but listening to the original recording, it sounds like there's an extra verse before the last chorus, i.e. "Bridge, verse, chorus, verse, chorus, bridge, verse, chorus"
I noticed the same issue, and was scanning the comments to see if anyone else caught it.

Did they show anything in their early songs that would predict the ability to write the later ones?
For sure they wrote their songs. George Martin was an ever present too and his influence and guidance was crucial to their stellar development as songwriters.
