The "why did you marry me yesterday" really sucked a lot of fun out of her performance tho. SNL skits often have bad endings like that tho, not really her fault
She is quickly becoming a star. On😂 thing I like about her skits is they always end funny and well. Many of the skits on SNL kind of end with a clunk, if you know what I mean. I loved her “Why did you marry me yesterday?!!”
Too bad she's gonna die in a kayaking accident.

This skit started off terribly but then descended into something so hilarious.

Aidy is just brilliant. So underrated. She's getting more and more reckognition tho which is good, she hella deserves it. She really puts the work in.
Never appears to be reading off cue cards, never breaks character to get a laugh, always committed to her character and the sketch scenario. Agree Aidy is no longer underrated. And it looks like she's started her move beyond SNL, very smart timing, as the quality of writing has dipped over the past two years.

I have watched this sketch a few times and it's always hilarious. Aidy's escalating desperation is brilliantly played. The thing I keep thinking about is how did they decide on the name Duane. It's perfect for the sketch. I'm not so sure another name would've worked as well. It's one of those small details that makes these things work and it's really interesting to me.
I know a couple duanes and it was the correct choice.
