Same I tried doing this a few days ago, but my eye brows were too dark. People always tell me I have nice eyebrows, and I'm like, it sucks when your a cosplayer 😒
Thank you. I have thick eyebrows and most the tutorials I've watched only had thin eyebrows and I tried to copy them with no success, this really helps. :D
Clorox Bleach dude maybe they did why do you actually care about how much time someone spent it didn't spend looking for something, get outta here with your unnecessary barbs
THANK YOU! I'm a latina cosplayer, so my eyebrow game is usually on point most of the year, but when it comes to cosplay I have trouble getting to the eyebrows. Every tutorial I see the cosplayers always have really fair eyebrows or none at all, and your tutorial is ACTUALLY helpful!.
I think makeup remover will do the job for concealer and then some gentle soap (like some kind of face soap). You must make sure, that it's not woodglue or latex that you're applying on your eyebrows. XD And if something goes wrong, always try to dissolve it and gently rub it of with oil. :)
I've never been able to properly conceal my eyebrows bc they're really dense and the hairs are rly long, but I have never tried this method before! Definitely something I'll try when I find the time! Thank you so much (also keita has the most glorious natural brows ever omg i love them)
things NOT MENTIONED in the video: 1.Clean your brows FIRST with alcohol to get rid of any dirt and oils or excess moisture. 2. LIGHTLY DAB on cream concealers, regular concealer, foundation, etc. with small flat make up brushes. 3. You don't have to use white setting powder to set the orange concealer on the browse- you can also use orange eye shadow. 4. You CAN use a blow dryer to make drying go faster.....but use the cool setting. please don't burn your face. 5. When removing all of this, DO NOT PULL OFF THE GLUE OR PICK AT IT. You could pull out eyebrow hairs! Use an oil based make up remover- micellar water works very well. Soak a cotton pad, some toilet paper, or paper, wash cloth etc. and press that into your brows for like 10 to 20 sec, push up with a little pressure, and again- try not to rip out any brow hairs. (Don't use make up wipes, I'm not sure why though.)
Thank you so much for making this!! I will be cosplaying Noiz from DMMD in March and finding a way to completely conceal my eyebrows has really been a pain in the ass. So, again, thank you so much! Can't wait to try it! :)
This is one of the best brow conceal videos!!! Very thorough and clean!!! Thank you it also helps the man had bushy brows and they are still able to be concealed. Thumbs up!!!
I've seen a few eyebrow-blocking vids but I think I like yours the best. Especially since you used a model with thick brows compared to other people who have thinner brows or partially shave them off. I also like that you lay the hair back in the natural direction rather than making them go upward. I gotta try your version out soon!
THE best tutorial on covering eyebrows that I've seen! You get straight to it, right up on the eyebrows, and show the steps clearly with detailed instructions! And he has beautiful thick eyebrows to cover too so that's a plus :) I just wanted to say thank you for this.
Ahhh this is so helpful!!! I think my next project is Prince Zuko of the fire nation. And this helps a lot! I also plan to use latex for some texture and depth. I know I will need to shave my side burns and beard off for it before hand. Could I use this glue trick in the edges of my normal hair as well around my ear to make sure latex doesn’t pull it out? I will make sure to put latex only in places around my eyebrow not on it.
FINALLY I STARTED GETTING STRESSED. Even if it does look a bit noticeable it's okay because the wig covers most of it so that's good! AHH saving this video
I've been looking for something like this lol, all the other tutorials just show people that don't have thick eyebrow hair/big eyebrows anyway, which isn't really useful for my thick eyebrows xDD thanks!!
I could not find a video to cover thick eyebrows! I was gifted with nice thick brows and never have had to use a pencil to fill them in. so when i cosplay i used this technique and it worked wonders for me!
Oh this is so helpful! I have very thick and dark brows and this is the only video I have seen where the person doesn't have thin and very light brows. Super helpful! Question though: would it be possible to use baby powder instead of a makeup powder?
This is the best explanation of covering up eyebrows I’ve watched. I’m trying to cover up my eyebrows for a Halloween costume and could never get it right, but after watching this, I know I can do it!
FINALLY A VIDEO WITH THICK EYEBROWS omg... I was always just doing one layer of glue and.... it wasn't working obviously lol, but the technique with the glue "paste" is amazing, it works perfectly! thank you for this!
oh my gosh! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I have super coarse and dark eyebrows (even though I don't have a lot left), but everytime I would go to cover up my eyebrows for my Gaara cosplay they would be a complete fail. I watched other tutorials on how to do the makeup, but everyone had super thin eyebrows. I had no idea how wrong I was doing this the whole time. So thank you sooooo much. This video helps out a lot!!!!
Thank you!!!! This was the best tutorial I’ve seen for heavy, thick brows! I need to practice more to get the seamless look but this was def the best application I’ve had so far!
Wow!!! That's so wild! You can hardly see his brows, especially for how dark/thick his are! Great video! I will definitely be taking notes If I ever cosplay as a character with funky brows!
You're awesome, I know this video is old but all the tutorials I can find are too generic like "just do this" without explaining everything, or they skip several steps and it comes out poor. I have 0 experience with makeup so your details and explanations are SUPER helpful.
This helped a lot. I've tried the glue technique a few times already but it never worked out since my brows are really stubborn. With those extra layers of smooth glue, it worked a lot better
Thanks for the tutorial, but I have one huge question and that is with the removal of the glue. Is it easy? Painful? What is the best way to remove it?
Omg ! this tutorial is perfect * O * so the Keita's skin is so white and clean ... XD per second starting the video I thought That he already had makeup in His face XD. omg !.I cant wait for see more new tutorials.
I used so many techniques to cover up my eyebrows and it took me forever to find one that i liked , since i have very thick and dark eyebrows. This seems more better than the other ones i came across, so I'll try it out. Thank you! :3
Although its a lot of information I appreciate you spelling everything out step by step, even though it was a pinch fast xD. I'm a complete newbie guy to makeup so it'll take me a while to absorb all this, but I'm glad you could break it down so thoroughly. :D
I come back to this every spoopy month for Halloween (We never get conventions anywhere near me so I only cosplay the weekend of Halloween because it’s publicly acceptable lol)
This is the first tutorial I've seen that says to work the scoop of glue to remove lumps before applying it to the brow; that sounds like an excellent tip! I've never been able to get it smooth before, so I'm looking forward to giving this a try. I also like that you explained *why* to use the orange before the skin tone concealer. One question, when you were mushing up the glue on the back of your hand, it looked like there was a little water added to it - is that correct, or just a trick of the light?
Ahhh I've been looking for a tutorial like this! I have very thick eyebrows too and I've tried many ways but, I was going to try Kryolan stick next. Seeing this makes me so excited to try this method!! :)
I have super pale skin and was wondering what kryolan stick would you recommend? I know it gets covered anyway but, I just want to make sure before I go to buy one. :)
If you have dark and thick brows, I'd still stick with the one I've suggested here but alternatively layer the TV Paint Stick on sparingly and just enough to cover your brows (don't stray too far from the hairs onto the skin around them). Another option is to pick a LIGHTER salmon/ orange based shade in the same range. Keep in mind and as you've already said, the orange toned concealer does get layered with a matching skin tone concealer anyway so you shouldn't have too much trouble adapting it to your pale complexion :) Hope this helps! P.S. Keita (my model) is quite pale in person too!
i'm going to apply yellow paint after i take care of my brows, it's mehron and water-based, any tips on application after these caked layers would be appreciated :)
I've always had trouble with the glue method.. and concealing part. (thus resorting to shaving brows off or halfway =w=;) Sometimes it'd look too -apparent- that I'm hiding my real brows under my fake brows. BUT GDI I NEED THAT MAGICAL BEARD CONCEALING CONCEALER. BTW how long did it last on Keita? :O (like, did it start to melt or anything?)
+Akikaze It took me a couple of years to perfect this technique before I was happy with it so definitely practice makes perfect :) I also understand the brow shaving as well because I do it too haha, and so I usually keep mine short for cosplay. As for the Beard Concealer, I've left a link in my updated description for where you can purchase it although it can be a little on the pricey side - totally worth it (if you conceal brows lot)! And addressing the durability of this method as well, I've used this method multiple times before for entire con days (12 hours + give or take) and it has lasted no problem! Generally around 15hrs it may start to lift and crack a bit, but keeping in mind that I live in Australia xD I've even battled our crazy summers with this makeup on! I doubt you'd be wearing it for that long though most of the time. I actually used this method to conceal my brows in my BTS video for Yowamushi Pedal (ua-cam.com/video/p5XgixmwHV0/v-deo.html) and I went biking in 40C heat no problem! For Keita, although we only shot for about 2hrs the concealing lasted no problem, if anything it might've been a bit overkill hahaha xD I hope this answers your question! :)
Uwah, thank you for the detailed response! Cracky eyebrows are horrendous but can't be helped (sadly). And I live in south Florida, so it can be pretty hot as balls, humid af, or wet as hell... TuT. (I also tend to sweat a lot OTL). *bows down to eyebrow mastaaa*
Sorry if this has been answered. May i ask how you drew the eyebrows and what you used? I tried this method by the way and it worked wonders! Thanks so much. Though there're still things that id need to change like.. The type of concealer, i used liquid which mixed with the orange concealer. And when i drew my brows it started scraping the glue and stuff.. Also, I'd be doing a white, as in paper white skinned cosplay.. So what do you suggest to do with the orange concealer?I'm scared that it'll turn my skin orange when i put in the white face paint..
Thanks for this! How long does this take you? There was one 2 min bake period and one 5 min bake period, but overall how long? (half hour, hour, more?)
You should brush the hairs up so the can lay flatter vs. on top of each other so it reduces them from leaving the gaps you had in the cover up in the thicker part of the brow near the inner eye.. Other wise good job!
Who else isn't a cosplayer and is just trying to see how they would look without eyebrows
Bri me
Bri im doing it so i can do a burn sfx over my face because fire burns off hair
Bri me AHAHAH I'm dyinnnn

Finally! Someone can relate!!!
Same I tried doing this a few days ago, but my eye brows were too dark. People always tell me I have nice eyebrows, and I'm like, it sucks when your a cosplayer 😒

For me it didn't work :'(

Thank you. I have thick eyebrows and most the tutorials I've watched only had thin eyebrows and I tried to copy them with no success, this really helps. :D

Thank you so much for your kind words!
This dude is so pretty. Like his skin is so nice
Ong his face looks like a doll
How the heck do you get it off though?! I don't wanna end up accidentally waxing my eyebrows hahaha :') (This looked SO GOOD by the way!)
I think makeup remover will do the job for concealer and then some gentle soap (like some kind of face soap). You must make sure, that it's not woodglue or latex that you're applying on your eyebrows. XD And if something goes wrong, always try to dissolve it and gently rub it of with oil. :)
haha thanks for the tip! No wood glue XD

Finally a tutorial for full brows, I struggle to find one that gives me good tips on thicker and harder to cover brows c:
Finally a tutorial that shows this method concisely and without a lot of extra blab. Very well done.
Thank you so much for making this!! I will be cosplaying Noiz from DMMD in March and finding a way to completely conceal my eyebrows has really been a pain in the ass. So, again, thank you so much! Can't wait to try it! :)

I will definitely try this for my Vulcan costume on Halloween. I can't just use traditional methods since my eyebrows are super thick and dark.
I have thick eyebrows just like his even on top of my nose. Will try it!
where did he get his contacts? they are beautiful!
+Emi Chan Not quite sure about this one, but I've left all of Keita's links in the description box so feel free to pop by his FB page and ask! :)
His eyes are so surreal.. I love them
Thank you so much, I’m trying to cosplay as Zuko and this really helped me create the burn on his face :D

i have blue eyes as well but man........his eyes are soooooooooo awesome
Perfect!!!! Easy, Clean, well splained... my FAVORITE EVER!!!!
Ty for the video, I'll also trip and shape my eyebrows before I do this. It can grow back fast anyways.
You're awesome, I know this video is old but all the tutorials I can find are too generic like "just do this" without explaining everything, or they skip several steps and it comes out poor. I have 0 experience with makeup so your details and explanations are SUPER helpful.
i’ve tried another method twice and it hasn’t really worked due to my eyebrows being kinda thick, so i’m going to try this one out tonight.
This helped a lot. I've tried the glue technique a few times already but it never worked out since my brows are really stubborn. With those extra layers of smooth glue, it worked a lot better

+Aly D-Sora Thank you!! I'm glad you enjoyed the tutorial~ Also yes, Keita does have very perfect skin, of which I'm quite jealous of hahaha xD
Thank you so much for using someone with thick brows for this tutorial. ^_^ As someone with full brows it's been a struggle to find a good tutorial.
what does it feel like? does it pull the skin?
I used so many techniques to cover up my eyebrows and it took me forever to find one that i liked , since i have very thick and dark eyebrows. This seems more better than the other ones i came across, so I'll try it out. Thank you! :3
Please give this a try and let me know how it goes for you! Best of luck with concealing! :)
Everything was fine but my trasulent powder wasn't well efficient. What brand of trasulent powder did you use? :)
pegufox The translucent powder I use is the Ben Nye Neutral Set Powder :) You can find where to purchase it in the description for this video!
How do you get it off tho?? Cuz makeup wipes wouldn't work completely so would you just wash it off with warm water??
Yes, water is enough to take off the glue :) you'll just have to rub a lot haha
this video was a great help for a cosplay, thank you for sharing and for the great step-by-step instructions and tips!
Although its a lot of information I appreciate you spelling everything out step by step, even though it was a pinch fast xD. I'm a complete newbie guy to makeup so it'll take me a while to absorb all this, but I'm glad you could break it down so thoroughly. :D
I come back to this every spoopy month for Halloween
(We never get conventions anywhere near me so I only cosplay the weekend of Halloween because it’s publicly acceptable lol)
i want to try but im scared that the glue will pull my eyebrows off😭😭😭
THAT'S A LOT OF WORK! That's the first time of my life I love almost invisible eyebrows xD You did a super job!
Thank you very much!
Love the contacts he's wearing!
Haha he's the perfect model!! Gosh imagine the work to get it off haha.
Tnx! I’ve been struggling with my stupid thick eyebrows for so long!🙏🏻
This is the first tutorial I've seen that says to work the scoop of glue to remove lumps before applying it to the brow; that sounds like an excellent tip!
Great!! Thank you so much! you have an amazing technique that I can't wait to steal! He looks amazing too!
Thank you so much I have such thick and dark eyebrows so they are so hard to cover up!
super CUTIE there! love the contacts
Ahhh I've been looking for a tutorial like this! I have very thick eyebrows too and I've tried many ways but, I was going to try Kryolan stick next. Seeing this makes me so excited to try this method!! :)
Hope you can try this method soon! I can guarantee it'll cover thicker brows no problem!
Keep in mind and as you've already said, the orange toned concealer does get layered with a matching skin tone concealer anyway so you shouldn't have too much trouble adapting it to your pale complexion :)
Hope this helps!
P.S. Keita (my model) is quite pale in person too!
Okay this helps a lot, thank-you so much!!! :)
Omg yay, finally with someone who has actual thick dark eyebrows like me
How do I remove the glue afterwards without completely fucking up my eyebrows? ^_^"
if you use glue that can be removed with water, just remove it with warm water, it doesnt harm your brows at all
Tina Handoschenko oh okay that's great! Thanks!
Wow the change was amazing
THANKS DEAR, Tomorrow I have fantasy job character for local magazine
i'm going to apply yellow paint after i take care of my brows, it's mehron and water-based, any tips on application after these caked layers would be appreciated :)
I plan on trying cosplaying, thank you so much!
Trying this for drag makeup! *thank you*
I have been cosplaying for a few months and yet i still have not been able to do this, ty for the help lol.
AHhh thank you!! I cant conceal my eyebrows at all!! This is so helpful :)) You gainned a new sub!! :))

nice tutorial. If you suceed in covering the brows but fuck up painting them, what do you use to remove the color only?
OMG Thank you guys sooo much! Loved the idea for additional layers on those "stubborn" ones - =]
not a cosplayer just a goth person tryna do goth eyebrows without shaving them all off. and ik im goth but love the vocaloid bg music btw.
do you have an eye makeup tutorial bc that eye makeup looked amazing on him
