- 【How to reset an aquarium properly】
「I want to know the steps to work on resetting a planted tank」
「When I reset my aquarium, the water is muddy and I can't catch any fish.」
「Anyway, I want to reset the planted aquarium without taking time. I want to know how to reset it efficiently.」
This video is very useful for such people.
I will explain in detail how to reset an aquarium properly.
For my translated videos, there will be times when the audio will be out of sync,
This is due to not needing as much time to explain things in English
It will sound off and I am sorry.

Chave-been Fishkeeping for over 48 yrs now and I do enjoy your videos I had to learn the and way, that said I was a member of an aquarist club andthe older members lookedafter me and I was always in awe of their fish houses and aquariums. Seemed to be many more aquariums and clubs back in the 70’s here in the UK and my joy of breeding blue Acura’s for the first time is still a fond memory. I had to listen and read many books which is not a bad thing.
Many many thanks for your wonderful and informative videos. JL
When can i add the fish to my newly reset aquarium?

Hello can i still reuse dome of the old substrate?
Thankyou for translation efforts bro, appreciate your note regarding sync and we totally get it. Keep growing on.
Really appreciate this effort❤️
Official WASABI Moderator: ❤️ It's our pleasure. Hope this helps! Thanks for watching! ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ
Shrimp and kuhli loaches are the hardest to find and take out safely. It’s keeping me from doing a full rescape with a better substrate. I used Seachem fluorite in my old tank and my plants thrived. The Fluval plant and shrimp substrate has been much less successful growing the plants. I want to do a full rebuild of my tank but it’s an intense day to get everything done without killing the marine life.
Very nice video. In your experience how many hours does the bacteria last in a dry filter?
It will become dormant, so indefinitely until you re-cycle the filter - Official WASABI Aquarium Channel Moderator
nice! is there a way where I can re-use the substrate and sand?
Official WASABI Moderator: Hi Kevin, only if you're not re-scaping (i.e. moving soil around), otherwise it's best to have new soil. In regards to sand, if it's not mixed with soil, you can simply wash and re-use. Hope this helps! Thanks for watching! ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ
Very useful video, I have seen others, but this is the best, it is explained in a calm, clear and detailed way, thanks!
i reused my amazonia but now my tank is constantly muddy and fix for it?
Official WASABI Moderator: Unfortunately, once aqua soil crumbles, it's just muddy waters from there. Best to reset with new aqua soil. Thanks for watching! ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ

Wasteful to throw away soil 👎, many thing can be done with this including re-use in aquarium.
