I have never really crocheted before...can make an extra long chain and played around with turning a chain....but never made anything. THIS video....omg you explain it so amazingly well that I actually made 2 of these!!!! Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Such an easy video to follow! I have wanted to learn ths stitch for a while. I finished one yesterday for my mother in law. I love it so much I'm going to make more for friends. Thank you so much for the video!
+Venessa Stroup So, if you are looking at the back of the headband do you do the back treble crochet and when you are looking at the front of the headband do you do the front treble crochet? Thanks :D!
Life Saver!!!!! I have been struggling with a pattern for weeks that was trying to explain this technique as "braiding". It made no sense at all. Thanks!
Have made a few of these now. Love this pattern and your tutorials. Thank you.
Hi Nadia needed to thank you for making this video the headband looks wonderful but more importantly you made it easy to follow along and learn the pattern. The inclusion of tips during the video made it so much easier to learn. I have made 5 of these now and each one looks better than the last. Thank you.
I'm a medium-skill level knitter, learning crochet. This was an excellent video for me. Not only did you clearly show how to do the work, but when you made mistakes, you showed how to recognize and correct them. I'm going to subscribe to your channel!
I love your pattern. I learn a new style of headband. Thanks for your tutorial.❤
You explain everything very well, and easy to understand. Thank you!
Thanks for the great video!! This is going to be my next project and you've broke it down enough for me to be able to learn a new stitch "front post treble" ! Super excited!

Made one in a rose color & I really like it!..very pretty!...thank you for sharing!! :)
I made my first headband with the woven stitch. It was a bit different to get used to because you do not yarn over and pull through. Everyone at work loved it and because I do not have my dream catcher stuff to make and sell....My new project is crochet things to make and sell. Everyone loved it!
Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful wonderful tutorial for head band!!! 😘😘😘

Great video! One question to my fellow crocheters- what stitch count did you use as the base for a full-length ear warmer (ie, she used 12 to make the base)? Thanks all!

You know even the best can get confused. mine is. going to the back of the front crossover stitches. are we going into the first crossover stitch or the bottom one
Awesome Mam thanks

Yes, Aran and Worsted are very similar. You could use DK yarn too. ~Nadia

+Enny Enny Yes
yes. back is back front is front.
I only have an H size hook. Will that work?
Chana Zelig use whatever hook your yarn tells you to.
i can't figure out where i went wrong. i always have one cable in front of the other. they don't go behind and in front. one is always in front while the other is always in back.

Also, you should’ve closed/connected the ends together BEFORE doing the border.
Have you ever done this as a movie head band need to try it
Movis

👍👍🌹
ياريت كل الشغل ده يكون الشرح بالعربي
This pattern was too complex for me....especially after a few rows the cables were so unorganized I didn’t know what I was doing :(
@mecca crooks
man I have thicker yarn this is a huge headband :/ I should of shortened the first row
At 5:31 in the video, you are trying to explain how to do a triple crochet and you misspoke and said “what the heck is a double crochet” and followed it up by saying to yarn over twice 😉
What you call a front post stitch other people would call a back post stitch but it depends on how you look at it. I would say that the front for me is that which is closest to my body and that the back is that which is farthest away from my body, but you say it the other way around. This can be quite confusing, especially for beginners like me. I just wish that people would be consistent in their terminology.

How she does a front post IS how a front post is done...same for the back post. Beginners should watch multiple videos on new stitches and use what ever one is easiest for them to understand. It also may help to check a stitch book from your local library or buy your own to refer to.
She’s doing it correctly!

The link to the pattern has NOTHING TO DO with the pattern at all!
