How do I make a request for a useful product? VFDs have become very popular, but not without some considerations. Shaft current reduces bearing life. An affordable probe to measure current and a brush grounding system. Thank you Oz Cheek BTW, thank you for your wisdom and willingness to help all of us.
best mitigation of that problem is SGR (shaft grounding ring), it seems as for oscilloscope measurements, BPK-PROBE is a leader...not sure why it has to be so complicated and pricey Martin and I have our plates full on a few projects right now but I will keep this in the back of my mind as a future product possibility AC Variable Speed Drives have come a long way. I build a 3HP balancing machine based on a Toshiba drive a few years ago. A huge improvement on our MG set drives thanks for bringing this up...I'll discuss it with Martin
