OMG! I almost end peed my pants when Laura found out Brenda doesn’t keep track of her fabric used! 🤣😂🤣😂 To Brenda’s credit she does remember a lot of the fabrics she uses. I understand being overwhelmed, there just isn’t enough time in the day and even when you retire there still won’t be enough hours in the day! Happy stitching Ladies, love all your projects, wips, finishes. Hope to see you again soon!
I have never laughed so hard when Laura found out Brenda didn’t write down the linen she uses… you ladies are my favorite to watch when I need a laugh… you brighten my day…and inspire me with your projects. ❤😂
You each make me so happy. I don’t have any cross stitch friends locally so you two fill the bill. You make me laugh and inspire me and I appreciate you so much. Thank you friends.

I still can’t get over how funny it was when Laura found out that Brenda doesn’t keep track of what linen she uses! The shock on Laura’s face!!😲😂🤣 So all this time when Brenda tells what linen she used, she just is going by memory?? If so, that is amazing!
I laughed out loud when Laura scolded Brenda for not writing down her fabric choices. Thank you so much for that Laura! So funny! You really made my day brighter ❤
Yay!! The dynamic duo is back❣️ That straw situation 😂 Thanks for sharing your stash & wip collection, your highs & lows and your encouragement to stitch what we love!
Brenda you need to finish Every Opening Flower!! You are the reason I came back to cross stitch and that is the pattern you showed when you had it started. I have completely gone down the rabbit hole!! Love you all so much.
Y’all always make me laugh. I love watching you both. Such a joy! But wow, that dough bowl is amazing. What a great and gorgeous idea! Have a blessed day. Can’t wait for your next floss tube.
Can I just say how much I love you two? I really love how you said you support the designers (when you were talking about 20 years worth of stitching). I feel the same way. As a quilter, I think collecting fabric and sewing a quilt are two separate hobbies! Keep doing what you are doing!
Must admit it was hilarious seeing Brenda channel Laura and Laura channeling Brenda LMAO. We never get to see Laura putting everything back in the bags and Brenda pulling from bag after bag 😅. Love watching you two! Now that Ann Grimshaw is finished 8be moved on to an old WIP, Sneek by Long Dog. hopefully that will be finished in 2 weeks 😊
This was such a fun video - I loved seeing everything. Brenda, I don’t keep track of my fabric either. I figure if someone likes a pattern they are going to use the fabric and threads they like anyway!! LOL. You go girl. Thanks for sharing all of your pretty projects, I always enjoy seeing what the two of you have been working on or are planning to work on. Happy stitching.😊
The comment about not keeping track of Linen and Laura’s reaction, have me laughing so hard. 🤣🤣🤣🤣. Never apologize for the haul, I’m with you love buying and supporting. I call it my collection 😊
You both are so funny. Love the way you banter back and forth…. You kept me smiling while doing some alterations on my grand daughter’s prom dress. Thank you❤. And Brenda … write down the fabric you use … 😂
LOVE LOVE LOVE the Sampler Bowl, just beautiful! Brenda, I love your want to stitch collection. Not only do I cross stitch, but I quilt. I love going thru my stash, it makes me so happy. Yes, I get overwhelmed, I have so much. and no I dont feel guilty. I work full time as a Nurse. My crafting is my mental health time
Wow! That was quite the Brenda show today! 😂 I'm not used to seeing Brenda all hepped up and Laura so cool and collected...and giving Brenda those marching orders to write down her fabric choices! 😂. What's happening in the universe?! 😂 Brenda, I love how your Florence Mary Dickinson piece is coming along. I've been waffling about getting that for so long now. I'm off to Hobby House to see if any charts are left. Hope you are both enjoying whatever it is you'll be stitching on in the next few weeks! Be well!
Ladies, you are just such fun! Brenda, I guess you need to quit work and stitch full time!!!!! Thank you for sharing all those wonderful things you want to stitch. And I agree with Laura…..we DO want to know what fabrics you have used and will be using!!!! I love football and miss it this time of year. Our Longhorns are moving into the SEC and that should be a challenge!!!!! In the NFL, we are Chief fans because I love Andy Reid and Patrick Mahomes, an old Big 12 quarterback. It has been nice to see the Texans come alive this year. I’ll look forward to your next visit. I love your attitudes as expressed at the end of this video. This all brings us joy so it’s worth whatever we spend and whatever time we spend on it. Carol in Texas Aj
Love seeing your smiling faces. I did have to back up a couple of times and take screen shots. I am stitching on the sampler from the SGR retreat as you chat. It makes my heart sing. And I bought the sampler from Cross Stitch Antiques ❤! Have a blessed time until we meet again!
You two made my day - in so many ways today. No guilt allowed - you’re stitching, you’re inspiring others & you promote small businesses and then ….. you have fun. Sending warm wishes for peace your way. Stitch on 🎉 & thank you sincerely.
I have been challenged by my middle school students to finish Land I Love by July retreat. I have been fairly monogamous since Feb. 19, which is not my ‘norm’. Your video brought so much joy to me. I will have to rewatch to soak up all the fabulous charts, linens and threads. I am trying to shop/stitch from stash-2 sons in college next year and a kitchen remodel have pinched the pocketbook a bit. ❤ Thanks for taking time to share so many lovely things with us.
I'm so appreciative of you both...you bring me so much happiness ❤❤❤. I love all you share and your patterns, floss, fabric help this stitchie community so much. I'm certain I have more love and appreciation for the artists from watching you then I would on my own. I'm definitely buying some charts...heartstring samplery strawberry....I've never seen before and now it's in my cart as a PDF to buy. Your enthusiasm is beyond containment and very contagious and welcome in my world.❤❤❤
Oh, ladies, what a wonderful video! You two are the greatest enablers! Another one worthy of multiple viewings, so much stitchy goodness. Thanks for sharing all of your project bags along with the projects enclosed in them. Brenda, your dough bowl is so amazing! A gorgeous vignette of your beautiful stitching arranged with such lovely vintage pieces. Thank you for sharing!
I always watch every episode of your flosstubes but I have to admit this one had me laughing out loud! Especially since Brenda doesn’t write down her linen picks. Too funny. I thought Laura was going to give Brenda marching choices. Thanks for sharing all of your stitchy goodies with us even though you have other things going on behind the scenes. Until your next video…take care.
Another great video! Thank you both so much! Brenda I agree with you that the designers do need to take sometime off so we can catch up on all our projects! lol!❤😂
What a perfect video! I did my thing where I split up watching over two day and woke up super happy & excited to get into my stitchy room to watch the rest! It was a great start to my day! Thank you so much for these fabulous videos, Brenda & Laura! They really are the biggest treat! 💕💕
OMG!! I could not quit laughing at all the side comments after Laura found out Brenda doesn’t keep records of fabric used!! Brenda, your public wants to know! LMAO You two are such a hoot! I was hunting for a particular start today (made the mistake of doing so while husband was in the room), and also had a few heart palpitations from all the goodness. I think hubby’s most ridiculous comment was “why do you need to buy another thing?” He can be such a doofus sometimes! LOL Happy stitching! Hugs!❤
Oh Joyce!!!!! Our husbands just do not understand. I don't know what part of their brains is missing, but there is something not right! Hope you found your project!
@@brendaandtheserialstarter2410 I did find it, thank you. It was American Flag Sampler by Kooler Design Studio. I agree there is a vital part missing in hubby’s brain! LOL
Oh, ladies. I so needed your hilarity this weekend. Thank you for the laughs. (Laura’s realization that Brenda doesn’t keep track of fabric names was priceless. Brenda, your knowledge week over week of fabrics astounds me!) You are the best of friends. Thank you for sharing your love of stitching with us all. Hugs to you both. ♥
Thank you so much Cecilia!!!!!! We hope that all is well in your world and wish we lived close enough to stitch together!!!! Sending a hug back to you!

Absolutely amazing episode. I laughed at so many things. Laura was on one today. Thanks for the amazing inspiration, Brenda. And the beautiful message about our hobby and collections. It's all about whatever brings you joy.
"We have fun!" .... I totally notice this in every episode. The only thing that would have made it better is if one of the cuckoo clocks would have went off when you said it. Love your videos. You both make me smile every time. Appreciate you both.
Thank you for sharing. Enjoyed seeing everything you have in your stash. I wish I stitched faster but I enjoy the process and the finish. You provide wonderful inspiration.
I’m enjoying preparing threads for kits as I watch you two share your love of stitching and paraphernalia. And I do consider playing with my stash an important sub-hobby to my main obsession!❤❤
You two are having fun, and so am I!! Haha! I will never get all of my patterns stitched-but who cares? I am happy. And as the saying goes, if Mama ain't happy, ain't nobody happy! Great video and it was good seeing you both. I look forward to each video. Until next time. ♥ Pam Miller
What a great video. Fantastic stash. I love everything! I like to watch the Badgers when I stitch. Laura, you can stick the straw through the tab to hold it. Marilyn
I like to consider myself a collector of all the pretty cross stitch things. The process of purchasing and picking out fabric and threads is enjoyable to me. I like you have so many things kitted up to stitch and I realize I will not live long enough to stitch it all but it is my hobby and I love it! I so enjoy watching your videos.🙂❤
Oh my goodness! Thank you so much Gigi!!!! Speaking of sunshine....that is what your beautiful charts bring to us stitchers! You are so talented! I have Coffee and Eggs waiting in the wings!
Oh another priceless flosstube. Laura when you were teasing Brenda about not needing to tell us what she stitched it on I was laughing out loud. And rewound it!
Good to see you two again. It's May 1 today and snowing here in central Alberta (wet snow; we needed moisture so badly we're not even complaining!) Thanks for the mention of Mason Linen. I'd never tried it but Traditional Stitches is the vendor in this part of the world (maybe in all of Canada; I don't know), and they recently had a selection of Limited Edition linen from Mason. I scored a piece of 40 count; it came in the mail this week -- looks gorgeous! RE: Stitching from the bottom left: Caroline of Evertote does that most of the time. It would make me nervous too; I prefer to start in the top left. And...Lakeside. Yes, I know it's hard to find...but again, Traditional Stitches came through with a piece of 32 count Vintage Bisque for me in that same order (above) that I got last week. I'm going to use some of it for Jeannette Douglas' "Garden Box" smalls (I have my own antique sewing box for them; it was made by one of my grandmother's brothers a good 100 years ago or more). Definitely "Lakeside worthy", eh? 😊
I love the mention of not going to finish everything. I do get concerned about buying more even though I have so much already. But, I also love supporting designers and shops, and it is fun! It's not any different than collecting baseball cards except we can actually use our collections. 😊
I'm so in love with your videos. You two bring me so much joy and inspiration. Thank you so much for posting a video today and thank you so much for all that you share with us.
Love to listen to you both while doing my own stitching!! Traditional stitches in Canada also sells mason linen. So much beautiful inspiration and knowledge
Love you two!! I told my kids the very same thing that my cross stitch brings me joy and I know I’ll never get to all of the stuff I buy ! I get joy just sitting and looking at my patterns and threads!
You girls make me feel so much better about my own stash. Have only come back to xstitch in the past year and already have boxes of fun things I want to stitch! How does this happen? I think it must be catching because we all have some form of stitch addiction! Love you'all!
You ladies are wonderful! What a very inspiring and enabling stash parade😉. You both have so many beautiful projects kitted ready to go-so many decisions. Aren’t we blessed to have such a wonderful hobby!
You 2 had me ROFL! Yes Brenda, you need to start making notes of your fabric choice. Laura--keep after Brenda to let us know the exact fabric she uses. And feel free to drink directly from the can! Have a wonderful week!~~Patty
You bring great joy and so many laugh-out-loud moments! I also have Sarah Milthorp and Ann Campion from Sampler Symposium 2023-also my first-with not a stitch in either but loving them both so much! Hearing your fabric choice for Sarah May get me going on it! Thanks for so many minutes of enjoyment.
My condolences on the loss of your husband’s grandmother, but how wonderful that your son had so many years with her in his life. I know (from family) that I met my dad’s grandmother, but she died when I was 3 or 4, so I don’t remember her. Love the FFOs, etc. I LOVE Pigeon Coop…can’t wait for Max’s book, too. Happy stitching!
@@brendaandtheserialstarter2410 Yes it was meant for Helen D…UA-cam sometimes automatically moves to another video even though I have that turned off everywhere. Technology! Hope you and Laura are doing well!
I have been watching your videos religiously from the very beginning and just love watching the two of you! Your stitching is amazing and Brenda, all the stitchy goodies! Love them all! I died laughing when Brenda spoke about the floss drops that Laura never gave her. Too funny! Thank you for brightening my Sundays. Brenda, any advice for me about chemo? I am about to start radiation and chemo combined and then 18 sessions of heavy duty chemo. I admired your courage. Thank you ladies for the wonderful videos, for sharing your love of stitching and for all of your stash!!!
We are sending you lots of love and best wishes for your chemo and radiation therapy Linda!!!!!!! Brenda can give you some tips but we hope you can keep stitching during this difficult time. Hugs!!!
Enjoyed seeing you both. Going to my first HATS retreat this weekend....so excited. Fun to see the BBD pattern flip through - I just love their designs. In fact I just finished two pieces from the book "A Fine Collection" : July's Celebration and Friendship Gathering. The "Sewing Club" book is also a favorite. I have stitched many from the "Winds of Autumn" and I did a FFO video for those back in the fall. Anywho...I could go on and on about BBD...😊 Take care and Happy Stitching!
Thanks for another fabulous video! It was almost like Freaky Friday - Brenda was Laura and Laura was Brenda!! 😂 No such thing as a too long Floss Tube or too much stash!❤️
Ladies I most certainly enjoy your videos. And I want you to know that because Laura had to show her PDF Paloosa that she went on, I purchased Robins Nest. It’s a pretty chart, so thank you for sharing!
I laughed so much at Laura and now knowing Brenda doesn’t keep track of fabrics. I don’t, but I dye all of my own fabrics so no need to. I’m with Brenda - LOL!!! We have so much in our stash, breathe, take a deep breath and then click on new stash you just can’t resist and add to cart!!! As my mom always said, you only live once so enjoy what you can do now. I hope the sad stuff gets better.
I found 36 ct Agave at Tomorrow's Heirlooms several weeks ago. I hope you are able to find it Brenda. Love your channel and look forward to new videos. I always have a good laugh.
Loved seeing the two of you. I’m on team Laura on keeping track of the linen! I know I wasn’t asked but that’s just my 2 cents. I was laughing out loud at Laura’s shock and dismay at the revelation about the lack of linen recording. I hope that each of you were able to decide what to work on today. I enjoyed all the goodness you all showed us. Thank you.
Am just finishing my first Blackbird - Away We Ride - and then I'm going to start some green pears. You've inspired me. I have an antique, cut-glass cake stand (don't eat cake anymore) so they will be displayed on the cake stand in the middle of my dining table. Thanks for the inspiration. Love you both.
I really enjoyed starting a bank holiday weekend with you both and all the eye candy ❤ I happened to glance out of the window at one point and found I had a squirrel bouncing round the garden, could be a sign 🤣

Thank you Pam!!!!
What a great video.
Fantastic stash. I love everything!
I like to watch the Badgers when I stitch.
Laura, you can stick the straw through the tab to hold it.
Marilyn
Thank you Marilyn!!!
Thank you so much! We totally agree with your comments! 100 percent!
The part about Brenda not keeping track of the linen ROFL I played it back a few times and laughed just as hard each time!
I seriously cannot believe she has not been recording that information!!! Crazy!!!!
@@michaelduet7930 "There's no need for the naming of the linen" 😂😂😂
Thank you for all the inspiration!! It is delightful listening to you ladies! ❤
Thank you!!!
I love you two - your channel is nothing but sunshine! God bless your wonderful stitchy souls, friends. ❤ -Gigi
Thank you Joanne!!!! I might need to go watch that myself and get a chuckle!
How exciting Margaret!!!! You will be stitching on some beautiful linen!! Very special!
I love the mention of not going to finish everything. I do get concerned about buying more even though I have so much already. But, I also love supporting designers and shops, and it is fun! It's not any different than collecting baseball cards except we can actually use our collections. 😊
We agree 100 percent with every word you said!!! Thank you Alison!
I'm so in love with your videos. You two bring me so much joy and inspiration. Thank you so much for posting a video today and thank you so much for all that you share with us.
Thank you for your very kind and inspiring comments!!!
Love to listen to you both while doing my own stitching!! Traditional stitches in Canada also sells mason linen. So much beautiful inspiration and knowledge
Thanks for the information and kind comments!
Laura- I am an Indy air fan also! I was at the Birmingham race on the 28th. Love you two and enjoy your talks. Keep it going!
I am so jealous that you were at Birmingham! That looks like a wonderful track. Such beautiful surroundings!!!!
@@brendaandtheserialstarter2410 it was a pretty track but the amount of track you can see from one vantage point is limited.
Love you two!! I told my kids the very same thing that my cross stitch brings me joy and I know I’ll never get to all of the stuff I buy ! I get joy just sitting and looking at my patterns and threads!
Isn't that the truth!!!!!! Sometimes after I get home from work I go pull 3 or 4 kitted projects just to look through them and dream!
Happy to see you today ! Love your STITCH sticker
Thank you Kathy!!!!
Love you girls. You make me laugh so much.
Thank you so much!
You girls make me feel so much better about my own stash. Have only come back to xstitch in the past year and already have boxes of fun things I want to stitch! How does this happen? I think it must be catching because we all have some form of stitch addiction! Love you'all!
We are total addicts!!!!!!! It is just so much fun!!!!!!! Thanks Connie!
You ladies are wonderful! What a very inspiring and enabling stash parade😉. You both have so many beautiful projects kitted ready to go-so many decisions. Aren’t we blessed to have such a wonderful hobby!
We are so lucky to have so many options!!!!!
You are so right with the work and deadlines and our stitching!! I never could put my finger on why I felt that way! Very well stated!!
Thank you!
You 2 had me ROFL! Yes Brenda, you need to start making notes of your fabric choice. Laura--keep after Brenda to let us know the exact fabric she uses. And feel free to drink directly from the can! Have a wonderful week!~~Patty
Thanks Patty! Love all your comments!
You two are just wonderful😊. Thanks so much!
Thank you so much!
Enjoy and do what makes you happy ladies 💜🥰💜
Thank you!
So much stitchy goodness. ❤❤
Thank you!
So much fun ladies! Loved seeing the “10” projects and all the rest of them! ESP the blackbirds designs! Have a great stitchy week.
Thank you!!!
You ladies were so much fun today! Enjoyed all the lovely stitching and finishes.
Thank you Joy!
You two make me smile! Love your friendly banter. Would love to stitch w you two in person someday. ❤
That would be wonderful! We need a huge stitching room!
Thank you Leslie!!! Yes.... get going on Sarah Milthorp!!!!!!!!
I cannot believe that children so young ,stitch these beautiful samplers ,that l have never stitched ,l am a mirabilia person .
Mirabilias are so beautiful!!!!!!!!!!
This is such a lovely comment, but I think it is for someone else's floss tube...right? Happy Stitching to you too dear Science Knitster!!! 💓
Hugs!!!
Love you ladies. Laughed so hard I cried. Beautiful work.❤️
Thank you!
Thank you so much! We know you will have an amazing time at the retreat this weekend!!!!!! Wish we could be there too!
@@brendaandtheserialstarter2410 oh, for the two you to be there too…that would be the icing on the cake!
Thanks for another fabulous video! It was almost like Freaky Friday - Brenda was Laura and Laura was Brenda!! 😂 No such thing as a too long Floss Tube or too much stash!❤️
It was like Freaky Friday! Hah!
Ladies I most certainly enjoy your videos. And I want you to know that because Laura had to show her PDF Paloosa that she went on, I purchased Robins Nest. It’s a pretty chart, so thank you for sharing!
Yay!!! I always love to enable! Thank you Tracy!
Go brenda! No keeping track!! *love* Thank you for keeping it real 🤣😍👏
Thank you Birgit! I see which side of the fence in this argument you are on! 😀
@@brendaandtheserialstarter2410 🤣🤣
I laughed so much at Laura and now knowing Brenda doesn’t keep track of fabrics. I don’t, but I dye all of my own fabrics so no need to. I’m with Brenda - LOL!!! We have so much in our stash, breathe, take a deep breath and then click on new stash you just can’t resist and add to cart!!! As my mom always said, you only live once so enjoy what you can do now. I hope the sad stuff gets better.
Thank you so much!!! Lovely comments!
I found 36 ct Agave at Tomorrow's Heirlooms several weeks ago. I hope you are able to find it Brenda. Love your channel and look forward to new videos. I always have a good laugh.
Thank you so much!!
Lovely stitching, ladies! Love seeing your stashes and projects. Have a great couple of weeks!
Thank you so much April!
I just love you two……there are no words! “ I enjoy supporting the designers…..” 😂😂😂.
Thank you Donna!!!
Thank you.
Thank you Mary Ellen! I hope Brenda mends her ways!
They are going to look SO GOOD on a cake stand!!!!!!!!! How exciting!
I really enjoyed starting a bank holiday weekend with you both and all the eye candy ❤ I happened to glance out of the window at one point and found I had a squirrel bouncing round the garden, could be a sign 🤣
That is a sign!!!!!! Definitely!!!! Did you start something new Karoline???
@@brendaandtheserialstarter2410 Not this time although I had just dug a sampler out of the wip pile that I started a couple of years ago and got about an inch of border done so it was practically a new start for all intents and purposes
