Thank you! This one took me a few weeks because I was dealing with some winter depression and struggled to craft.
Do you tear the paper edges and then ink them? Or do you take a cigarette lighter to them. Either way, that's a lot of work
I always tear pages by hand to get the best effect. Then I ink the edges with vintage photo distress ink and then go over it again with ground espresso or black soot, to add the burnt effect. I used to actually burn the paper edges, but it was soooo messy and very hard to control. It is a lot of work, but the final effect is sooo nice!
How do you make the crumbled seam binding?! I love sari ribbon but it can be espensive
I actually did a tutorial video on that. It's sooo easy to make and color possibilities are limitless, especially if you have a sparkle spray you can add to some of the colors! Here's the video: ua-cam.com/video/t24hiwW0-ks/v-deo.html
