This is a wonderful craft room, and very well planned. You'll be able to access things in your own flow. Congratulations. I am a newbie here, so I realize this is an older video. but I imagine you are still loving the craft room!
Thank you for your comment, and welcome! Actually, that craft room quickly became too small as my business grew, and I was very fortunate to be able to switch my craft room with my bedroom, so now the master is my craft room. This was just recently done, and I hope to get a room tour video of the new setup by next month!

I just now saw this. Your husband is so blessed to have a creative and interesting wife. Nice that he helped you. I can see that you would have ocean colors on the wall as I remember your sensational mermaid journals. I hope to make a mermaid journal soon and have been thrusting for things to put in it. All of my crafting supplies are in multiple closets. I have a craft room/ bedroom but it is overtaken by grandkids so don’t want them using my good crafting tools etc. Have fun in your beautiful junk journal retreat.

Haha so funny reading this after our Etsy messaging 🤣 it 100% is my happy place! Sometimes I go in there and sit down and stare at my journals and fairies just to destress or unwind.

The two nautical books are amazing
I like how you organized all of your things. I need a peg board so bad. I saw yours and I love how you added color to it. I have similar colors in my craftroom, mint with some peacock blue and added in some coral color because mermaids are my favorite. I have recently taken over the finished basement area across from the wet bar we dont use so I am absorbing those cabinets into my craftroom as well haha. Still organizing. I don't think it will ever look as put together as yours though. I am going to checknout the Target book shelves though. Thanks for the tour.
How exciting! We definitely have a lot of common interests lol. I can't remember if I said the name of the Target bookcases, but they are called Carson!

This is fabulous!!! You must feel amazing walking in there and being able to look at and find everything!! Tell us about the dauber tray.
It is very nice. It is my happy place, in a crazy world and household. I used junkmail, the thick cardstock type. I cut into strips and glued each one to a little bigger than a duaber. I made a shallow box out of the same material. Then glued all of the circles to each other and to the inside of the box.

I am very blessed! Before this my craft space was in a black basement full of dog pee carpet from the previous owners.

Thank you! I actually upgraded recently and am trying to finish remodeling the new room to do another tour video! It's organized much better for my personal needs, but hopefully will help other crafters organize their own materials using my new simple method or something similar that fits their style and space.

I have a free-standing workshop that I've been in for a few years now, so it's packed to the gills! lol -- your space looks like it's perfect for being able to find everything. Your journals are lovely. xx
Thank you!!! Yes the space is very well organized and works for how I craft. I like to work on one themed project at a time. I will go through everything in my room that might work with that theme, pull it and put it all together in a box. When I make a journal I'm able to see everything I have that could be used in it and that's when I start getting ideas on how to decorate. Then when that theme is done I go through the room putting everything back in its place. Being so organized let's me craft so much faster!

Wonderful that you have such a great space as your workroom. Happiness comes in different forms. :)
Pretty layout! Love the color! An alternative for the washi trays would be to run 1"x strips - securing to studs on either end and maybe in the middle then secure the shelves to the 1"x strip. Fewer holes but secure because you're into the studs.

I really love the peg board. What size molding did you use?
Sorry it took me so long to answer you. UA-cam didn't notify me of this comment. I'm not sure what the size would be considered in stores but I measured it and it's about 2.25 inches

I bought it from Office Depot or Staples I can't remember which but both have it. It's the Bush Business Furniture Studio C Office Desk, 72"W x 30"D , White
