Love your style of Journals, it inspires me to make an effort to create something beautiful. Gorgeous digitals and laces you use. 5 signatures would scare me to make, but your journals are so inspirational. Thankyou. xx
OMG! I knew I had seen this journal before but I spilled coffee in the keyboard of my previous laptop and had to start over with a new one. For some reason a lot of my saved stuff was lost in the transfer. I was just looking at the comments below and saw one by ScrapperGenLa which is me! Or was me! But the weird new computer gremlins made me change my name, so this is the new me! Go Figure.
@LauraStillLearning aww that's a pain! Well if it helps, you also commented under this journal, saying you saved it for inspiration: ua-cam.com/video/XUU_-IZ_4hE/v-deo.html
I love this! I've been gathering supplies to make a couple of Halloween and Witch journals that I have ideas for, but haven't been able to get started. This is a great inspiration so maybe today, using this journal as a guide I can start getting some layouts going. If you don't mind, how long did this take you to come up with the idea and then to actually put it together? I'm a scrapbooker but have made a couple of my own albums and have made two Christmas journals, one a ring binder and one with disasterly sewn in signatures,,,LOL. And neither were as wonderfully elaborate as this. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.
@LauraStillLearning It takes me a couple of weeks to make a journal. I start with printing digitals and dyeing papers. Usually, the digitals will give me ideas for the cover. Most of the time, I sew the signatures in before decorating because I like flipping through a journal when decorating. I have a couple of tutorial videos that might help you. One of them is specifically for how to sew signatures in straight, among other things: ua-cam.com/video/0A1znYDNN_0/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/4qrGclrrBYY/v-deo.html
