you can get good shots on any camera, I use my Pentax Q7 which is 12 years old, 12mp and perfect for street photography

@@Zlin0035 It wasn't released until May 26th 2020. Perhaps you are thinking of another camera?
Superb compact camera. Just watch out for magnets near the power button. While turned off, the camera will turn on if there is a magnet near the power button and the screen is facing outward. This happened a couple of times inside my bag. This does not happen if the screen is facing inwards. An interesting behavior. Regardless, still highly recommended.

Street photographers do
Many of street photos in stock photo website come from tourist and have higher selling rate than photographer's photos.

Guillaume Bouqueau I came from a flip screen and tbh only a few instances would I want it back. I’d honestly prefer a three way tilt like Fuji.

I own an original Sony RX1.
24 mp and full frame.
As not as compact as the camera your using in this video, it’s still incredibly small.
It’s a low light beast and is fantastic for street photography.

I use my Olympus TG-4. I’ve had it since 2016 and it’s my go to camera when I don’t want to stand out. I used it in my trip to the Philippines and it produces really good pictures. You can take great pictures no matter what camera you use.
Finally a photographer talking about photography using that flippy screen on a compact camera.
The only youtuber that talk about the photo on zv1♥️

You proved that it's the photographer, not the camera, that makes the great photograph. I think that the Rx100 series makes for a better street camera. That awful flip out screen is for bloggers. It's awkward to employ and once you pull it out, it's like a waving a flag to people on the street "Hey, I'm taking pictures". The Rx100's tilt up screen is less likely to catch attention. Your images are great - thanks for sharing.

Hello, I take pictures in M mode, or auto mode and my Sony zv1 softens the skin! How to clean? The soft skin effect is disabled, but the photos come out with skin smoothing

It's not about the camera it's about the story you can tell with it. I have a bad, old lumix point and shoot camera and i get great pictures from that.

I have one and it's a great little camera. I live in a big city (Manila) and I really don't big zoom range. This little camera is a great tool.

I use a Sony RX100 MK 5 for a lot of my street photography, some of the images from that camera have placed in competition.
After watching so many reviews of ZV1, I really needed to understand it stills capability
monarksingh yede i watched one review from Sidney Diongzon channel, stills look legit.
I would say it is most likely very much like the rx100 v but with better auto focus.
@@realMDizzy that's very reassuring to hear, with all the reviews focused on video one can easily assume Sony has cut some corners for stills ,we know they have removed the view finder.
Probably comparison of this with rx100V and a6100 or a6400 would really help

I started with D40 to take pictures of my baby, took pictures of stuff regularly for 3 years, then got bored. Especially editing in Lightroom, too long. Filming vidéos is more fun.
Just picked one up today. I have a Z6 as my main camera, with a 24-70 f2.8 but its just way to bulky to travel abroad with.

the low light photos are great. i would like to buy the zv1 but i cant choose between zv1 or the latest mark ii. I will probably use it for family photos and selfies.
Does having ois help lower the shutterspeed and prevent camera shake? especially low light

Noup, this camera is a RX100VII with the faster glass of RX100V and without EVF. 24-70 f1.8-f2.8 is way better than 24-200 f2.8-f4.5

good job as always!!! most of the reviews out there just take a look on vlogging...
but one question: what's about changing modes? no mode dial... how many buttons do you have to smash to load a custom preset? and switching between foto and video... when i tried this in a shop, i alsway had to confirm in which priority i want to shoot video in - that was really annoying...
Honestly, I have being playing with ZV1 for 3 weeks, I have learned about the basics of aperture, shutter speed, iso, manual focus etc.. but I'm not able to get as beautiful photos as my Note 20 Ultra delivers.. so I'm a bit disappointed, lets see how it evolves but I'm not happy with the results so far.
That just mean u need to learn more about the camera if ur small sensor phone still take better photos than a 1 inch sensor

I got it because of the hotshoe. This allows me to use OCF with it. The newer rx100 series doesnt have a hotshoe. Wish there was a test for OCF

I own a Rx100 m6, im not liking the stabilizer for videos nor the 2.8 lens i find its too dark. I mainly use my camera for family videos and pics. Would you say its worth ( for the things I dnt like on my camera)getting a ZV-1 ?
